Recipe's Book by Giò

Hi all!!
When I saw this beautiful "Willow's hot chicken soup" by
Whiff of Joy new collection,
I immediately thought to realize a recipe notebook.
What I am introducing you is easy and fast, 6" x 7" size and this is the material to realize it.

Coaster
Some colors of cardstock
Patterned papers - Ivory Paper
Paper trimmer
Scor pal
Crop A Dile
Eyelet
Ribbon
Distress ink Pad
Tacky Tape 1/4 o similar

For the covers
Cut 2 pieces Coaster 6x7
Cut 4 pieces Cardstock

For the inner
Cut 4 pieces Cardstock 6x7
Cut 8 pieces Cardstock 6x3
Cut 8 pieces Patterned Paper 3 1/4 x 5 7/8
Cut 8 pieces Patterned Paper 2 7/8 x 5 7/8

After you have sponged with Distress ink all the edges of your pieces, with Scor Pal score all sheets at 1" only on 7" edge.

With strong double side tape attach Cardstock on Coaster to make two covers.

Attach Patterned paper on Cardsock to make some folders that keep tags.

Take the size for the holes and sign at 1,5" from the centre on the edge.

With the help of the Crop A Dile (or a similar one) punch every piece.

With the help of the Crop A Dile again, put two eyelet on the holes of the covers, this will take them more stronger.

The last step is to put the ribbon in every piece dividing the folders basing on your necessity.

Here is your recipe book, you could have fun decorating it as you like and it will be a beautiful gift for mother's day.

I hope you like my tutorial
Thanks for stopping by

  1. Hi Gio,
This is absolutly lovely. I made a recipe book for a friend earlier this year, but wish I had seen this tutorial before I made it, it's really nice. I used a readymade Bo Bunny book, but yours is much nicer. Will have another go now I have seen your brilliant tutorial. Thank you Debbiexx
