Scrap your stash and make a heartshaped easle-card, Tudorial

Hi Everyone!

It´s my turn (Bianca´s) to scrap my stash. I thought you maybe want to see a new way to use one of your "old" Whiff of Joy dies. If you belief me ore not, you can´t just make only the lovely hearthaped box with this die.
NO - it´s also perfect for make all your cards for St. Valentine´s Day this year!

All what you need is:

*your favourit Whiff of Joy Stamp (mine is: Fische)
* some left over papers and embelishments
*Scorebord (but it also works with  a bonefolder and a ruler)

First of all use your die two times and cut away the the flaps. You will need the flaps with the little glue flap. If you use not so very heavy paper you have to stick this flap tougether. If you use very heavy cardstock you can also use just one of this flaps.

Now you have to score this flap at 1,1" (ore 2,5cm) and ...

... and stick it on one of your heart shaped pards. This will be your card base now. Let the glue try befor you start with the next step.

Now fold your flap just like on the photo. The scorline is now on the end of the flap. Add some glue and now you have to put the uper pard of your card. The position must be exectly on the based part of the card and the flap must be in the same position as you can see it on the foto.

Now it looks like this and it is ready for beeing decorated by you.

Don´t forget to use something like the sentiment on my card for hold the uper part of your card if it´s displayed.

It´s really easy, you can use all your left overs and a die-light in a different way.

Have fun!

Rocker Card...

 Morning all...

Vicky here today and I thought I share with you a quick tutorial on how I made a rocker card using adorable "Henry on rocking horse"...

and here are the items I used..

Go-Kreate & Spellbinders Circle & Scallop Circle Dies
Pearls

And here is how I made it...

1} Cut out 2 Scalloped Circles..one large and a smaller sized one as shown.
2} Score the large scalloped circle down the centre as shown.
3} Fold in half...now you have the base of the rocker card.
4} The smaller scallop is then glued into place as shown.

Top Tip

I always decorate the two pieces of the card first before I glue together using foam pads for a little more dimension...

and here are the Copics I used to colour adorable Henry..

and here is my finished card..

A Shaped Double Tag Card

 Karin Seiness-Lilleseth
Hi you lovely ones :-) Karin her today and
I`m going to share with you a tutorial how to make a Double Tag Card who`s shaped :-)

First of all a material list:
  •  Stamps: WOJ digi stamp - Diver Henry and  WOJ text stamps - Magical Whises
  • Aquarelle paper, Craft cardstock and double sided patterned paper.
  • Die Lights WOJ - Chevron, Notbook Border, Arrows and Speech Bubbles.
  •  Spellbinders dies and Martha Stewart punch and score board.
  •  Coloring and Ink: Distress Ink Reinkers, Distress Ink and Archival Ink.
  • Gold Embossing Powder, Buttons, ribbon and twine.

To make the card, I start making a circle with a diameter of 10 inches using
a double pattern paper.
Then fold the card as seen below :-)

Unfold the paper and cut flaps along the last fold edge.

Glue the card as shown on the picture below.
I`ve aged the edges with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo before I glued the card together.

The card is finished. Just the Tag`s to make :-)
Here is my card and tags finished decorating :-)

I hope I`ve inspired you with this Tutorial and have fun playing :-)
I found the inspiration for this card here!

HourGlass Shaped Card

Hi, this is Karin sharing a tutorial
about how to make a HourGlass Shaped Card.

First of all a material list for this
shaped Card:
Below you have the template to print and cut out with the measures for:
the card, green cardstock and pattern paper.
Of course you also can make it any bigger or smaller.

Here you see the cards rear and front, and how you fastened the ribbon
so you can tie the card. All sides of the card are decorated.
I`ve also cut out a template for the green cardstock and pattern paper.
All the edges are aged with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.
With this technique, I think the card look a little softer :-)

So it looks when the ribbon is attached.

The rear and front are finished decorating :-)

The inside of the card with the text:
Good Friends are the real treasure of life!

I hope I`ve inspired you with this Tutorial and have fun playing :-)
