Wednesday Die-Light

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone!
Erika Winterlia here again with another card tutorial for you. Today is Wednesday Die-Light and I'll be using the fun alphabet die set from the shop to make a very clean and simple card.

To make this card I used some distress inks and the alphabet die. Since the dies are made to cut out the whole letters I needed to place my cutting plates so that the bottom of the letters weren't cut. This way I got a panel with the letters on top. Behind the white panels I colored a piece of white cardstock using three different colors of distress inks and water.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

So that was all for me today, I hope you liked my card and the video and if you want to get any of the products I used check out the complete supply list with links to the shop in the bottom of this post.

Make a Card Monday with Erika

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone!
I'm Erika Winterlia and this is my first post as a Whiff of Joy DT Member. I am so happy to be a part of this team and I am really excited to share this weeks Make a Card Monday post with you. I have made a card using various products from the shop and I hope you like the card as much as I do.

To make this card I used a few different dies, some stamps and patterned paper from the shop. I also added some enamel dots and glossy accent for some extra interest. I love to make clean and simple cards with a bit of a distressed look to them and this card is an example of that style.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.
(And sorry about my strange voice and sound issues in todays video, think I might be getting a cold or something)

Tutorial medical bag with Doc Henry

Good morning all,
Today it's my turn (Jeanet) to show you one of my creations here.
When I saw the new stamp release I immediately fell in love with this cute Doc Henry
and decided to make a tutorial for you all how to make a medical bag with it.

Above you find the template for the bag and the handles (cut them out twice).
In my case I have printed this template on the back of my kraft cardstock and
cut it out with a my scissors.
For the handles you must cut 4 holes in the bag template on the marked places.

Then I inked up all the folded edges with distress ink walnut stain.
The handles are cut out of a different type of cardstock.
Fold your bag and put it together with tape.
Now you can decorate your bag as you wish.
On mine I placed Doc. Henry, stamped and colored with (only)
walnut stain distress ink.
My bag is filled with typical Dutch candy, called dropjes
(is good for a scratchy cough).

On the handle there is a tiny bottle stop with Tic-Tac.
don't you think they look like real pills :-)
The Dutch saying on the tag means something like "It's all gonna be oké sweatheart".
A piece of velcro holds the bag closed.

I hope you enjoyed my post, have a nice day!
Hugs,

Vintage Book Card

Hello everyone, Karina here today. Have you already made our Blog Hop? If not your really have to do to see all the gorgeous projects the DT made with the new released fabulous products of Whiff of Joy.

A while ago Katharina showed us in a fantastic video how to make a book card. You can find this tutorial HERE. I just love them as they look so great and precious. They are just great as a gift and always excites the persons who is that happy to get such a piece of art.

So I decided to make a book card to show you today. I kept it in a vintage style, and I used a sweet image from the Summer kit. Here we go...

This is the front side of the book card;

A close up of the image:

The back side of the cover, where I added a small bag to put some tea bags into it;

The inside of the book, with selfmade flowers and a sentiment from the Summer Kit as well, which is a perfect one when you add some tea bags.

And here you can see the back of the card, where I added some letters saying 'with love';

Well, I hope you enjoyed to see my book card. I really can recommend to make one by yourself. You will be excited by yourself as well when you have finished one. They need some time to create, but it is so fun.

Have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina

Decoupage with background stamps

Goodmorning! Ingrid here, to entertain you today with a little tutorial. Two weeks ago it was my mothers birthday and I wanted to make her something to decorate her home.
I made her a decoration she can hang for the window or to a cabinet.
Here you can see the products that I used. As base I used styrofoam hearts.
I started with stamping the Essential Background textstyle stamps onto thin paper. I used Distress inkt walnut stain.
Then I rip out my the stamped surface...
... and spread Decoupage glue on the back of the paper...
... and fold the paper around the styrofoam heart. Be carefull, the paper can easily rip now. Make sure the paper is as flat as you can fold it and don't make to many layers. It's better to rip a piece off than to make to many layers on one place.
Put a finishing layer of Decoupage glue on the hearts and let them dry.
The only things that's left to do is decorate and string the hearts to a ribbon, I used a red satin ribbon from the Whiff of Joy webshop.
Used postmarks are a favorite embellishment for me :-)
My mother is also very creative and thought me to sew when I was young.

A hand crochet flower and a vintage button for the last heart.
 A total picture.
Hope you like my tutorial for today. Wish you all a good day and a very happy holiday, if you are enjoying that now! Hope to see you here again and on my own blog.
