Baby Money Gift Holder
Hi its Jacqui here I posted this Money Holder last week and have had lots of queries on how to make it, I can assure you it is really easy, although I seem to have taken a lot of photos so here we go.
You will need:
A Base card 11.1/2” x 5.1/2”
Contrasting Cardstock cut at
2 x 5.1/4” x 4”
1 x 5.1/4” x 5.1/4”
1 x 5.1/4” x 2.1/4”
1 x 5.1/4” x 1.1/2”
Backing paper cut at
1 x 5.1/8” x 2.1/8”
1 x 5.1/8 x 3.7/8”
1 x 5.1/8” x 5.1/8”
1 x 5.1/8” x 1.1/4”
Glue, Double Sided Tape, Scoring Tool Fancy Border Punch, Scalloped cut with 3rd Nestie Oval
Score and Fold the base card at 2” and 7.1/2” . Punch a fancy border along the edge.
Mat and Layer Contrasting Card and Backing Paper, you will have one piece of Contrast card (5.1/4” x 4”) left over, attach this to the inside of the large flap,
attach the 5.1/4” x 2.1/2 “ mat to the inside flap with extra string double sided tape along three sides as below
Punch a small border and add to the top of the inside flap
The closure is made by attaching the bottom half of the scalloped nestie oval to the front large flap (see below)
and now comes the fun part add your coloured image and embellish to your hearts content
I have used the beautiful Whiff of Joy Mother and Toddler image coloured with Distress Inks for my card.
Most importantly don’t forget to add your money or gift card.
Well I do hope you found this easy to follow and if you decide to make a money wallet I would love to have a look.
Hugs Jacqui x
