Hi, Katharina here with a fun and easy mixed-media bachground idea – giving your neclected Twinkling H2Os good use ;) If you are looking for more ideas with templates – check out my latest craft video.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hallo, hier ist Katharina mit einer einfachen und schnellen mixed-media Hintergrundidee mit der ihr euren vernachläßigten Twinkling H2Os wieder etwas Beachtung zukommen lassen könnt ;) Wenn ihr nach weiteren Hintergrund-Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten sucht, dann schaut euch doch mein letztes Bastelvideo an.
I started off with 300g watercolor paper and cut my tags. I chose two Twinkling H2O colors (courageous rose & tahitian blue) and roughly colored the tags with a brush.
After drying the paper with a heat tool (also dry it from the back to get the paper flat again), I stamped over the color with the line stamp included in this stamp collection using black StazOn ink.
300 Aquarellpapier bildet die Grundlage meiner Tags. Mit 2 Farben Twinkling H2O (courageous rose & tahitian blue) habe ich grob den Hintergrund angemalt. Nach dem Trocknen mit einem Heißfön (trocknet das Papier auch von Hinten, damit es wieder flach wird), habe ich mit dem Linienstampel, der in DIESER Stempelkollektion inkludiert ist, und schwarzer StazOn Tinte darübergestempelt.
Afterwards I used a template on top ot the tags, coated it with white crackle paint and carefully removed the template again. Let it dry for 20 minutes to 1 hour (depends on how much color you applied).
Danach habe ich ein template über den Tags befestigt, mit weisser crackle paint eingestrichen und das template vorsichtig wieder entfernt. Das Ganze muss nun zwischen 30 Minuten und 1 Stunde trocknen, je nachdem wie viel Farbe ihr aufgetragen habt.
And here are the items you will need..
Clean tin can
Hessian
Lace
Buttons/Brads
Cheesecloth
and here is how I made them..
1} Cut a piece of Hessian 4" x 25" and fray the edges as shown.
2} Wrap the hessian around the tin and glue into place.
3} Wrap the Lace and twine around the tin and make a bow.
4} Glue flower into place.
and here is how I made the flower..
1} Die-cut the flower as shown.
2 } Then place on top of each other and take a piece of cheesecloth and fix with a brad or button..
Here is how I made the pouch..
1} Again cut a piece of hessian 4"x 25" and fray the edges.
2} Fold over leaving a 2" at the top and sew down the sides using the twine.
3} Decorate using the lace and twine as shown above..then fix flower into place..
and your items should look like this..
Christmas Wreath** SonjaB **
Hallo all today it`s my turn
I want to show you how I created a Wreath,but the problem is.... I did not take pictures wile I was working on it,so I do hope you understand by just looking at it,It`s not that difficult It`s only A lot of sewing
I started with many pieces of fabric and hand sewed them piece by piece to make a sort of little pillow,
I filled it with cottonwool then I sewed it close .After that I picked some Twine "vintage linen"and made a sort of bow around the pillow,I made 45 of them but its your own choice how much,it also depends on the wretch you have.
After that I put the pillows on my wreath also with some twine.
The little cotton rolls I stamped with Stazon using the adorable Christmas sentiments from the Winterkit 2012 after that I filled them with some cotton and some drops of Vanilla smells lovely by the way;)
I glued the vanilla rolls with my heat gun direct on the wreath with the pillows.
I also colored some little stamps and cut it with some different Dies from Whiff of Joy.
I used Mini Henry hugging Heart,the other two are from the Winterkit 2012
I hope you understand it all,my English isn`t that good anymore ,I was born in Canada you wouldn`t tell.....lol
If you have any question you can ask here or hop over to my Blog
Hope this inspires you to make some,it looks fabulous on my wall;0)
Wine bottle packaging
Hello dear readers. It's so nice to see you here :-)
Today I (Ingrid) want to show you a creative way to give someone a bottle of wine. You do need a sewing machine but don't need much sewing experience for this project, it's very easy!
 First take measurements on your bottle and add a few cm extra. I took 28 cm.
 Also take measurement of two times the height including the bottom, mine was about 67 cm.
There will be no seam on the bottom but a seam on both sides of the bottle. So I need a piece of fabric that is 67 cm high and 16 cm (28 divided by 2, plus a cm seam on both sides) wide. I used linen fabric.
Pin it with the short sides together and the good side of your fabric on the outside.
Don't use a small stitch length (I used 4 mm), 'cause you want to give it a rough appearance.
 When you sewed both sides of the bag, fold open the seams and press them with your fingers/ nails. To give the bag a bottom you fold a little triangle of the bottom and side of the bag and pin that.
Sew about 3 cm (measured from the point).
Cut off the extra fabric with a seam of 1 cm and then you have a bag. It's that simple! Do not turn the bag inside out before you put your wine bottle in it, I think it's great to show the seams on the outside. After filling the bag you can fold back the top.
Now we can start creating a tag to attach to the bag. Inspired by Katharina, who is very experienced in using background stamps to create her own "dessinpaper", I also wanted to give it a try. I stamped a tag with the background stamp "Friendship".
After that I attached a piece of paper from an old book and my colored image. Then I stamped dots with white ink and put clear embossing powder on it. Next time I'll use white embossing powder to let it pop out some more.
Here you can see the finished tag. I used a stamp from the Fall Stamp Kit, which is also available as digi stamp from now.
 Some Prima flowers and blue Petaloo Vine Spray.
The lovely round sentiment stamp from Whiff of Joy fits perfectly to this project! I also attached a wine glass charm which I bought this weekend on a craft show.
And here is a detail picture of the image. I colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Henry: E47, 44, 43, 42, 41, 13, R21, 20
blue: B99, 95, 93
barrel: E29, 27, 25, 23, 21, W7, 5, 3
wine bottle: YG99, 97, 95, R59, B99, E41
Thanks a lot for visiting us today and I hope to see you again soon, here or on my own blog. Have a nice day!
