Treat Pouch by Liza

Hello everyone, I'm Liza and I am excited to be one of the guest DT members for February and March. For my first tutorial here I have decided to do a nice easy one! I'm going to explain how I make a treat pouch, they are really easy and are suitable to hold little treats, money or gift cards. So here goes....

Supplies
1 piece of designer paper - it doesn't matter what size as long as it is square
Bone folder
Adhesive
Image and/or embellishments to decorate

Step by Step
Step 1: For my project I am using double sided DP that measures 6 x 6 inches. If you are using double sided paper, begin with the side that you want on the inside of the pouch facing upwards. Fold your paper in half diagonally from corner to corner, crease with your bone folder to get a crisp fold.

Step 2: Take the bottom right hand corner and fold it over to the middle of the opposite diagonal, crease with your bone folder once again.

Step 3: Take the bottom left hand corner and fold it over to the middle of the opposite diagonal and crease.

Step 4: Take one layer from the top and fold down to create your pouch. I usually apply a little piece of double sided tape underneath to hold it in place.

Step 5: Pop your fingers inside the pouch and with the thumb of the opposite hand create a small dip, this gives your pouch a bottom.

Step 6: Finally, decorate your treat pouch. Mine is just a small pouch so I kept embellishments to a minimum and I just used the mini version of Charlotte Kissing Pigeon. She is coloured with copics, cut with labels one nesties and added to the front of the pouch with foam pads.

Here is a picture of the pouch and matching card. Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial! Take care Liza x
