Happy Friday! Today we have a wonderful tutorial for you from our amazing Guest Designer.

Hi peeps!

This is me, Linda, here with you today to share my tutorial for my GDT term. As Easter is fast approaching I thought I'd make something related to that and what I'd like to show you is how I alter Easter eggs.

This is what you need:

Tut 1

An Easter egg, new or old anything will do, papers, decorations, maybe an image if you'd like (and your egg is big enough) and of course decoupage glue.

Tut 2

I start by tearing up the patterned paper in small pieces and quickly dip them into water to make them somewhat soft and easy to work with.

Tut 3

Then i just add glue to a small part of the egg and add the paper pieces on to the glue. Be sure to let the pieces overlap a little bit so that it doesn't dry apart. Add another coat of glue over the paper pieces. I have used different colors for the top and bottom of the egg.

When the egg is all covered in paper - let it dry before decorating.

Tut 4

I used a punch and punched out leaves to decorate the egg. I place the leaves on the egg quite spread out and then add more leaves and more decorations.

Tut 6

This is what the egg turned out like in the end.

Tut 8

I have used the following Whiff of Joy products:
Pad Frülingserwackem
Brads
Charm Keys
Yellow ribbon

Thank you for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more of my GDT projects for Whiff of Joy you can find them here

Have a great day!
