Stamping on inflatable Waterball / Stempeln auf aufblasbarem Wasserball

Hi Ladies,

Today the weather over here in Switzerland doesn't look like summer, but although I come up with a funny summer project :) So, get on your Flip-Flops and hurry up to the beach, as here comes the lazy Henry on his beach chair. I've stamped him with StazOn to an inflatable Waterball and colored it with Copic Markers. I've spontaneously got the Idea of the background scenery, so I just continued painting along...

:) Also, Auf die Bälle, Stempeln, los...
I've tried for the first time now to stamp and colour on plastic and I have to confess that it isn't that easy. You have to choose a waterproof inkpad like StazOn is. But StazOn is kind of tricky when using alcohol based Markers like Copics, as they may smear up the ink lines. So you have to be careful at coloring. The coloration on plastic is also a bit stripy not as on paper, where you can blend flewless. Of course I've stamped the image on the flat ball, then pumped it up and then coloured it.  I find this idea just super, to surprise the kids with a personalized water ball. My two boys were my testers and I can tell you, the ball was kicked against bushes, raw house walls, into the water... and it survived it bravely! :) So, get your ball, stamp, go...

Enjoy your summer!!!
