Fan Fold Flower

Hi everyone, Karina here today. I want to show you how to make beautiful paper flowers. They are great to use paper scraps. Who of us don't have them...

Here is what you need:
  • A strip of designer paper 30 cm / 12 Inch long
  • Scor Pal
  • Border Punch
  • Glue
  • small circle die or punch
  • button or other decoration

Cut a stip designer paper to a lenght of 30 cm or 12 inch.

Then punch the one side of the strip. The finished flower will be twice as wide as your strip after you punched the border, so cut the width of your strip in this size.

Score your strip in regular distances. For my flower I punched each whole heart and each tip of the hearts. Fan fold the strip.

Glue the both ends together.

Punch or die cut a little circle as the center of your fan fold flower.

I added some distress ink around the circle. Then glue it to the center of your flower.

This way it looks on the back side... looks pretty as well, so you can chose both sides for your flowers.

As decorative addition I glued a button to the center of my flower.

And now it is ready to place on a card or other project you made. For my card I used sweet Henry 'Enjoying Spring', the banner dies and sentiments are from Whiff of Joy as well.

I hope I was able to inspire you to make your own flowers. They are fun to make and are a real eyecatcher on your projects.

Have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina
