Introducing the 2014 Whiff of Joy Team

Happy New Year! We wish each and everyone of you a prosperous and happy 2014! Thank you for all your support in the past year. We look forward to providing you with more inspiration and amazing products in the coming year.

We are excited to start of this New Year with a brand new team dynamic! This year we have 3 Whiff of Joy Design Teams! That’s right!  You will see many returning members and some brand new faces as well.

Whiff of Joy Design Team 2013

Good-morning! We are happy to be welcoming the 2013 Whiff of Joy Design Team today!

Thank you to everyone who applied for a position with our team during the Design Team Call. Katharina and I were overwhelmed with the number of applicants and that is why it has taken us so long to make an announcement. It was honestly very hard to choose just a few from amongst the many talented people who applied. In fact, we ended up adding a few more Designers than we intended simply because we could not let them slip away!

We are thrilled to be announcing our new team 2013 team:

With so many amazing applications, we have also decided to start having monthly Guest Designers. So, if you applied to the Design Team call, you may be invited at some point this year to be a Guest Designer!

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a very special “thank-you” to our 2012 team-mates:

Whiff of Joy Design Team Call

Whiff of Joy is currently holding an open design team call. We are looking for new members to join our amazing Design Team for our 2013-2014 term.

We are looking for committed team members who truly share our passion for Whiff of Joy stamps and products and will promote our brand with enthusiasm.

Whiff of Joy Design Team Members:

• Receive their choice of free new products on a monthly basis
• Receive a 20 % Designer discount for any other items from the Whiff of Joy store
• Have their personal blog linked on our Whiff of Joy blog, World of Ideas blog and the blogs of the other Design Team Members
• Become members of our own private and secure discussion forum
• Have their own album at the Whiff of Joy Inspiration Gallery
• Compensation for magazine publications

Whiff of Joy Design Team Requirements (total 8 projects/month):

• 4 new projects per month
• 1 monthly tutorial on World of Ideas blog
• 1 Team-Themed project per month
• Participation in bi-weekly Whiff of Joy challenge (2 per month)
• Posting your projects on personal blog and other galleries & social media
• Sharing special promotions and release information on your personal blog

How to apply:

• Send us 3 project images that reflect your personal design style.  Send as email attachments (Image sizes should be no more than 600 pixels in width so that file size is manageable)
• Provide us with your full name, email and link to your blog
• Send us links to your Facebook account and any other social media account (Instagram very welcome!) and online gallery
• Provide a short paragraph about yourself and your ambitions to join the Whiff of Joy DT

Special Notes:

We ask that you follow these submission guidelines exactly. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept incomplete entries. This call is open to designers world-wide. We will not be sending confirmation responses so unless your email bounces back to you, please assume that we have successfully received it.
