Tag You're It

So today I decided to share this lovely creation by Kuni. 

I love her fall colors, the doily, and the birthday sentiment. 

So I decided to create a fall like card. I didn't have any green so I used gold (kind of like beer).

I also added some jute string and a button! I used a Fall sentiment and had fun putting this quick card together.

Tag You're It

Good Morning and welcome to "Tag You're It Tuesday"!

So for my special inspiration I picked a project by Natalie.

I was inspired by the monochromatic look, the ribbon, and the pearls. 

I decided to do the same thing with my tag. I used some stamps from the Spring Stamp Kit. Don't forget you can sign up for the Summer Kit now!

I used some clear embossing powder to give the music noted the tan look. Then I used some distress inks all of the tag for the darker tones. 

I used some brown ribbon from my stash and some cream pearls for the cream from Natalie's card.

Scrap Your Stash Saturday

Hi everyone. I am Shanna and I am here today with my very first post for Whiff of Joy! I am so excited to be here and sharing my love for creating with you all.

I am here today to share a card I created using some scraps of paper  I had and some new stamps from the first  2014 Stamp Kit for the year.

I had so much fun making this card as masculine can be a little challenge for me. 

So here are my scraps that I had... a little sneak at the stamp kit... and well the image and a stack of sentiments because I wasn't sure which to use!

I used some music notes from the stamp kit to stamp around Henry with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink. 

Henry is colored with copics as copics are my favorite stamp coloring medium. 

The sentiment is also from the stamp kit and great for all the wonderful images in the stamp kit or even by itself as a tag for a goodie bag. 

I couldn't resist using this bright colored button from my stash to make a pop on the card and well I don't think ribbon for boy but a bunch of jute string makes a statement.
