Color me happy!

Today it's time for our "color me happy" day!! It's tips and tricks on coloring....

Today it's me, Linda, sharing with you how I colored this lovely image called

This is how I did.... I stamped my image on paper using a Memento pad. I use Copic Markers to color. For Henry I picked the colors E 29, 37, 35, 31 and 30. (Yes E29 to make the shading deeper).

I start with adding a bit of E29 where I want my darkest shade. Then I add E37. I leave a lot white to start with.

Then I add my E35 going in a bit more.

Then I do the same with E31 and just leave a little white space that I cover with E 30.

To make the shades deeper and the blending better I go over all of my colors again (except E29). And then this is the result... a little bit different from the one above...?

Coloring the Chickens I went with the colors below.

Add the darkest shade and the next darkest ones to the parts where you want the deepest shade.

Then add the lighter colors....

So this is what it looks like before I go over it again....

This is my final image... For the tail and ears I use R20 and 00 and for the beeks and feet of the chickens I have used E07 and Y38.

Hoping you found this useful....

This is my card using this image....
