It's time to open Day 12 of the Advent Calendar and today I get to be your host.
For my creation I have used the mini Praying Angel stamp and have a tutorial for you on how to make a Christmas Cracker.
Supplies Needed : 2 Toilet paper rolls, Piece of wrapping paper, ribbon, embellishments, small toy, paper hat, cracker stick.
Supplies Needed : 2 Toilet paper rolls, Piece of wrapping paper, ribbon, embellishments, small toy, paper hat, cracker stick.
Cut one toilet paper roll in half so you have three sections. Fill the middle part with the tissue paper hat, small toy (deck of cards, etc) and the cracker part.
Apply double stick tape to the top edge and attached the roll leaving a little bit more space between the sections than shown.

Continue to roll it up and cl0se it shut with double stick tape and trim off any excess on ends.
Tie the ends up with ribbon and decorate the cracker.
Here is the finished product. I added a paper doily, one of the Whiff of Joy banners and a gold snowflake and pearl brad. If you're interested in winning this adorable stamp featured here, please leave your name below, good luck!

ReplyDeleteGreat cracker project! I was going to make some for christmas! Dumb question... do the two smaller cuts of tp stay in the cracker or do they just help hold the paper shape and then you slide them out? TFS joy4umetoo at hotmail dot com
