Distressing edges

I am today showing you how i distress my edges of my images and papers without having any fancy tools, i am using "Charlotte with bird cage" and i have made a quick video showing how i do it....


I have a make up sponge, a small everyday ink pad and a pair of old scissors that are not to sharp, i tied some ribbon to my scissors so i can remember which ones to use....








I follow this method on to all the papers too as i think it gives a nice look, here is my finished card...



I have added some embellishments and a "sentiment" from the February stamp kit...
