Ways to Use it...Nestabilities...by Kathy Page...

Good morning. Today I want to show you a different way to use the Spellbinders Nestablilities. Some I don't use that much so I wanted to see what else I could use them for. I have found that you can make some pretty borders with them ~ I see all kinds of gorgeous border punches but in this economy I for one can't get all the ones I want.

So for today I will show you what I did with the heart nestabilities and I have used one of the new Alison Acton Happy Mail stamps called Charlotte with Birdcage.

First off I started with two nesting hearts of the size I wanted and taped them together:
After running it through once I reran it again to emboss. I used white core because I love the way it looks sanded but if you just want the embossed look (or not) that is fine too!! I think it really adds to the border.
I did this a total of three times. Then I cut then right in half. I found that 5 halves fit perfectly across a 5.5 card base. I just put a ruler where I wanted the top and lined them all up. Place your panel on top where you want it and voila you can't tell what it under!! LOL
I wanted to add additional hearts to the front so I just did the same thing with the nesting, sanded and linked the two for an embellie on the front:
Color and you have your card!!

Well I hope you can use this and if you do link it here ~ I would love to see what you come up with!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
