Joy Fold Card

Hi, its Colleen here with you today. I am going to share a joy fold card that I like to make, its really easy but it just has that 'wow' factor when you want to make that something a little extra special!

You will need a sheet of cardstock, patterned paper, Whiff of Joy stamped image and sentiment stamp, ribbon and some flowers and leaves to finish it off.

Cut cardstock 21cm x 14cm, score at 14cm and fold.

Cut a second piece of cardstock 11cm x 11cm and fold in half.

Cut one piece of patterned paper 13.5cm x 13.5cm, two pieces 13.5cm x 6.5cm and one piece 10.5cm x 10.5cm.

Adhere the piece of patterned paper 13.5cm x 13.5cm and the piece 13.5cm x 6.5cm to the inside of the card.

Adhere ribbon to the second piece of patterned paper 13.5cm x 6.5cm and adhere to the front.

Adhere second piece of ribbon to patterned paper 10.5cm x 10.5cm and adhere to the folded card 11cm x 11cm.

Now you can attach the two cards together, I have attached mine with the fold on the right but this card is quite versatile you can have the fold on the top or the bottom.

Embellish the front of your card with your stamped image, sentiment, flowers and leaves. I paper pieced my princess and coloured her face and hair with Copics, then fussy cut her out. I then used 3D foam tape to adhere her to my card and created a 'garden scene' for her with the flowers, leaves and some butterflies.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you have enjoyed this card!
