Scrap Your Stash

Hello everyone, I love 'Scrap your Stash' Saturdays because when I go looking through my stash I always find some forgotten treasures!

So with Valentines Day and my wedding anniversary just around the corner I decided to make a card for my hubby......hope he doesn't have a look here or at my blog. And I thought Henry in Love would be perfect for my card, he is an older digi and can be found here.

Henry has been coloured with Copics and mounted onto my card with some 3D foam tape. The papers are some old Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934, the little red love hearts are Whiff of Joys Hearts Die Light, sentiment, pearls and flowers from my stash.

I hope I have inspired you to go digging through your stash and get creating, have fun!

Hello everyone, I am so happy to be doing today's post. If you don't know about it, its when we get to share and choose someone's work that inspires us and then create something similar.

And this is how we can find your projects:

Via our Facebook page/group, Pinterest or among the entries of our challenge. If you are sharing a Whiff of Joy project through social medias tag us with @whiffofjoy or #whiffofjoy and we will find it :)

I am happy to share the lovely Alice's project, you can find her blog at Alice's Little Wonderland. She was on Whiff of Joy's design team and I love her simple yet striking cards with beautiful colouring of her images.

I love her style and had a go making a Christmas card using Henry Hugging a Christmas Bauble.

The sentiment is This is December and I finished it off with a flower and leaves, trying to keep the embellishments to the minimum.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to you sharing your projects with us!

Spring Bees - 3D Foam Tape

Hello everyone, I have a fun card to share with you today where I have popped up part of the image with 3D foam tape. Its really simple and easy to do but the result is great!

I have used 'Spring Bees - Simply Maya' and coloured with Copics. Stamp the image twice and colour the first one but don't worry about shading except for the branches as these will be exposed. Then colour the bees and flowers, this is the image you are going to cut.

Cut the bees and flowers as close to the lines as possible and use a craft knife to cut the little bits you can't get to with your scissors.

Pop some 3D foam tape onto the back of your cut images and adhere to the first stamped image.

From a different angle, you can see how it adds extra dimension to your image.

My finished card.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed it.
