Hello from me GD Nana and today I'm going to show you an altered deep photo box idea. You will need:
1 deep photo box (from any gift or photo shop) mine is 4.5 x 4.5"
Antique white acrylic paint
distress ink for the edges (I used frayed burlap)
image of your choice
I love this Winter Church stamp from Christmas collection 2010. It is so gorgeous that it does deserve to be framed!
Color your image with medium of your choice. Here I have used distress inks. Remember while coloring to check how it will look in the box. You might need to add some more color here and there. When you are completely happy with your image just put it in and close.
If you feel extra crafty you can decorate the frame itself. Here I have added some small stones, spattered with a bit of acrylic paint and glued a decorative fence and a flower.
Making a plain frame will give you the freedom to change the picture inside at any time you want to and it will look as good as new one :)
Here is my finished deep photo box to go with my Christmas decoration. Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and got inspired to do some of your own.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
