Hello everyone. I hope you're having a fabulous week. This is Michaela, from Cardheaven, and today I am going to show you how to make this wonderful Winter Chandelier using Whiff of Joy Snowflake dies & Praying Angel.
The Supplies
You will need:
* Metal ring
* Hot glue Gun
* Ribbon
* Clear Jewelery cord
* Fancy "wintery" yarn
* Snowflakes punched out with the Whiff of Joy Snowflake die
* Any other snowflakes (variety is great!)
* Tissue paper Flowers
* Other embellishments (pearls, tiny plastic snowflakes, jingle bells)
* Stamped & colored WoJ Praying Angel
Instructions
1. Wrap your ribbon around the metal ring, completely covering it - use your hot glue gun to make sure the ribbon won't move.
2. Once the ribbon is all wrapped around, wrap the clear jewelery cord as shown on the picture (you can add 4 more sides - to make it 8 - for more dramatic look), tie it very tight and try to make sure it is located in the middle on all four sides, it will help you with the overall balance in the end.
3. Once we have the jewelery cord tied, we tie more ribbon to the sides and in the middle (where the cords meet). This will be our base for decorating.
4. Now we can add (using the hot glue gun) our snowflakes. I attached the snowflakes from both sides of the ribbon, so it looks pretty from all sides ☺, on the end attach tiny plastic snowflakes.
6. The last thing to decorate is the top. I added (using the hot glue gun) the tissue paper flowers, pearls and on the very top - where the cords meet - I attached (tied) the ribbon for hanging and the gorgeous Praying Angel.
And here is the finished Chandelier.
ENJOY!
