Heute darf ich Euch ein weiteres Werk zeigen, auf dem nur Die-Lights verwendet wurden.

Today I am here to share another creation with you that was made using Die-Lights only.

Und so ist dieser Tag entstanden...

Wie, mögt Ihr jetzt fragen, von Whiff of Joy gibt es Cupcake Stanzen? Nein, gibt es nicht. Und trotzdem habe ich sie mit einer Stanze von Whiff of Joy gemacht... ;)

There are Cupcake shaped dies by Whiff of Joy, you might ask. No, there aren't. But I still made these using dies by Whiff of Joy.... ;)

Ich habe dafür die Ribbon Card Nested Die-Lights verwendet. Und zwar die größte und die zweit-kleinste der 4 Stanzen im Set. Um aus den Garnrollen einen Cupcake zu machen, habe ich die Stanze jeweils nur etwa halb gestanzt und anschließend vom gerade Mittelteil noch etwas mehr weggeschnitten. Dann habe ich ein wenig nach innen versetzt links und rechts eine Markierung gemacht und von dort schräg nach oben zum Beginn der abgerundeten Seiten geschnitten. So entsteht die Grundform des Cupcakes. 

Für den farblichen oberen Teil der Cupcakes habe ich die Schablone jeweils verkehrt herum - also Stanzkante nach oben - auf die Rückseite meines Designpapieres gelegt, den inneren Rand der Stanze mit einem Bleistift nachgefahren und dann per Hand die beiden unteren Rundungen hinzugemalt. Diese Oberteile habe ich dann per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Verziert habe ich meine beiden Cupcakes dann mit Herzen aus dem Stanzenset Herzen und beide Cupcake zusammen mit einem Text aus dem deutschen Textset 10 Klassiker auf eines der Grosse Nested Tags gesetzt. Zum Schluss oben noch ein Band und eine Schleife angebracht, und fertig war der Tag.

I used the Ribbon Card Nested Die-Lights for them. I went with the biggest and the second smallest from the 4 dies in the set. To turn the ribbon cards into cupcakes I only cut about half of the ribbon card and then removed a little more from the straight middle part. Then I made a mark on both sides of the bottom and cut from there to the point where the rounded parts begin. This is how the shape of a cupcake was made.

For the colored part I put my die upside down - cutting edge facing upwards - on the back of my designer's paper and traced the inner edge of the die with a pencil. Then I hand-drew the rounded parts and cut the shapes out by hand.

I decorated my cupcakes with two hearts from the Hearts Die-Light set and glued both cupcakes and a saying from the german text set 10 Klassiker on one of the Large Nested Tags Die-Lights. To finish this tag I added some ribbon and a bow.
