Hey everyone!
Nichol Magouirk here today with a quick video tutorial showing how I mask my WOJ images to create a scene and how I stamp backgrounds over the WOJ scenes.
I really love the look of dimension without the bulk. It makes mailing a card so much easier for me. I have found that by masking my images, I am able to create lovely dimensional scenes that are not bulky at all!
Here is the card I made using the sitting WOJ Oakley, Fence and General Sayings Greeting Stamp:
Here's how:
Supplies:
PAPER: Hero Arts Daffodil Layering Paper; Neenah Solar White Cardstock 25 sheet pkg.orReam
STAMPS: Whiff of Joy Fence Stamp; Whiff of Joy Oakley with Slipover Stamp; Whiff of Joy General Sayings Stamps; Hero Arts Friend Definition Cling Stamp
INKS: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Antique Linen Tim Holtz Distress Ink; Vintage Photo Tim Holtz Distress Ink
COPIC Markers:
EMBELLISHMENTS: Button by Stampin' Up; Twine by Papertrey Ink; Ribbon; Hero Arts Clear Gemstones; Hero Arts Foliage Mixed Accents Gemstones; Hero Arts Heart Accents
TOOLS: Ranger Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool; Inkadinkadoo Stamp-a-ma-jig; Inkadinkadoo Stamping Mask Paper; Tack N Peel by Tsukineko (for adhering unmounted rubber stamps to acrylic blocks); Tim Holtz Paper Distresser
Thanks for stopping by!
