Spotlight Coloring

Hallo ihr lieben. 

Hier ist Anja und auch für mich ist das heute leider mein letzter Beitrag hier.

Ich möchte mich von ganzem Herzen beim gesamten Team bedanken!!

Heute möchte ich euch gerne eine weitere Kolorationsmöglichkeit zeigen. 

Ich weiß nicht ob diese Technik einen Namen hat. Ich nenne es einfach Spotlight Coloring :) 

Da darf der Star von Whiff of Joy nicht fehlen:

Today I would like to show you another coloring methode. 

I don´t know how this technique is. I just call it Spotlight Coloring :)

The Star of Whiff of Joy may not not be missed:

Ein hübscher Effekt oder!? 

A nice effect isn't it?!

Und so hab ich es gemacht:

Ihr braucht einen Stempel, Stempelkissen, Papier und Stifte zum kolorieren.

And so it is done:

You need a Stamp, Inkpad, Paper and Pens. 

Das Motiv wird zweimal gestempelt. 

You need two images.

Eins davon wird nun in Graustufen koloriert.

One of them will be colored in shades of gray.

Bei dem zweiten Abdruck wird ein kleiner Teil ausgestanzt.

From the other image a small part will be punched.

Welchen Teil ihr ausstanzt ist euch überlassen. 

Dieser wird anschließend Farbig koloriert: 

You can choose which part you use. 

This one will be colored colorful:

Ich liebe diesen kleinen Kerl :) 

I love this little guy :)

Zum Schluss wird das kleine Teil passgenau auf das große Motiv geklebt. 

Ich habe dafür Schaumklebeband genommen um einen kleinen 

3D Effekt zu bekommen. 

Das ist auch schon alles :) 

Finally, the small part will be glued exactly on the other part.

I have used foam tape to get a little 3D effect.

That's all about it :)

Guten Morgen liebe Whiff of Joy Freunde, dies wird mein letzter Beitrag auf diesem Blog sein, leider... denn wie Ihr bestimmt alle schon erfahren habt wird Whiff of Joy nicht mehr weiter bestehen. So schade, haben mich diese tollen Produkte doch schon seit Anfang begleitet und meine Kreativität bereichert. Ich hatte die grosse Ehre, auch eine Zeit lang aktiv im Team mit dabei zu sein. Ich habe diese Zeit sehr genossen und wird mir in Zukunft sehr fehlen. An dieser Stelle ein grosses Dankeschön an Katharina, dass ich ein Teil von Whiff of Joy sein durfte, auch für die tollen Produkte und Inspirationen. Es war eine tolle Zeit!! Vielen Dank für alles! Und ein weiteres grosses Dankeschön geht auch an Jeanette und den Rest des Teams! Es ist kein Goodbye, nur ein 'See You'... 

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte die ich mit der süssen Wasserfrau kreiert habe...

Koloriert habe ich mit Copics...

Ein Geburtstagwunsch... diese tollen runden Glückwunschstempel sind auf Deutsch leider nicht mehr erhältlich, in English jedoch schon.

Für meine Karte habe ich folgende Produkte von Whiff of Joy verwendet (alle noch erhältlich!!):

How to store your Whiff of Joy Stamps forever

Hi all!

This is Bianca for you today! I can´t belief it but this will be my last post on this blog as Whiff of Joy will close the doors forever soon. 

I tought we all can need some inspiration and tips how to store our Whiff of Joy stamps for ever as we can´t get new images and want to use that one we have for a very, very long time.

So here are some hints for you:

*) Store your stamps in a cool and dry place. If the temperature offset is to high the rubber can start to get crumbly. This will destroy your stamp!

*) Always clean your stamps with a stamp cleaner and/ore baby wipes. The baby wipes often have a little bit of lotion ore oil in it. This not only care for baby skin but also for your stamps as the rubber will stay soft with it. Just take care the baby wipes don´t have any alcohol ore formaldehyd in it´s liquid.

* Store your stamps flat and with out any pressure on it. You can use little boxes for it as I have done for my project.

This is a box you sometimes get if you order some yummy foot at a food service. I have start my project with eating some Chines noodles :-)

The boxes are stabile and have a good lid. One box has enough space for one of your Whiff of Joy stamp kits. You can decorate the lid with one of the stampimages you will store inside. If you want to staking more boxes for a deck you just have to care for the decoration has to be flat. I have used the "Tanzende Herzen" die as dies are perfekt for a wonderfull flat decoration.

I hope you will have fun for a long time with your Whiff of Joy stamps with this hints.

Die Jagt nach dem Tannenbaum im Mai

 Guten Morgen!

Natascha hier heute mit einer neuen Karte für euch. Aber bevor ich zu meiner Karte komme möchte auch ich mich ganz herzlich beim ganzen Design Team und allen Menschen, die um den Laden herum arbeiten, bedanken. Ich bin zwar bei weitem nicht so lange mit dabei, aber ich habe die Produkte und die tollen Stempel von Anfang an verfolgt und war total stolz in das großartige Team aufgenommen zu werden und euch hier regelmäßig mit meinen Werken zu inspirieren. Ihr werdet mir alle fehlen und ich wünsche allen eine tolle Zukunf und weiterhin ganz viele kreative Ideen und Spaß an dem schönsten Hobby der Welt :).

Whiff of Joy ~ A Tribute

Happy Tuesday! So, many of you have already heard the news that Whiff of Joy is closing as of the middle of June. The news is sad and having been a fan from the very beginning  and then a designer from very early on, the news affects me in a deeply personal way.

I began blogging in June 2008 and almost immediately found Katharina’s blog. I was amazed by her talent and then her generosity of spirit as we became “blog” friends. When she opened Whiff of Joy, I was one of the very first customers. At the beginning of 2009 I earned a guest spot on the team and then was asked to stay on. I never left and in recent years went on to be the DT coordinator. Of this I am extremely proud.

I wanted to pay tribute to Whiff of Joy, but more importantly, to Katharina. A truer more generous friend cannot be found. As much as I cherish having been a part of Whiff of Joy for all this time, I cherish Katharina’s friendship even more. She is taking a difficult step and an exciting one and moving forward. I wanted to wish her well and let her know that Whiff of Joy has made my life more full. Full of laughter, fun and friendship. Thank you my dear friend. I am happy that this is not good-bye as we both will still meet in blog land and through social media. One day, we will meet in real life. The only question is whether it will be in Canada or Switzerland.

My fellow DT members are amazing. Past and present members, all of you made me laugh and were a delight to work with. Did I tell you often enough? I hope so. It was a privilege to work alongside you!

Hi all, it is Marion today giving you some inspiration
with the lovely Whiff of Joy stuff.
So glad you made time to stop by this blog today.

Today I want to share a non cute card with you all that

I made with several Whiff of Joy stuff.

I used the lovely Stephanie Schütze stamps again and combined them

with several Whiff of Joy Die-lights.

I used Wink of Stella as an extra touch on the little angel on top.

I stamped in brown and in white on cardstock:
