Tag You're It

Hello and welcome to a new 'Tag, you're it Tuesday'. Here's Karina to show you who I tagged and what I made out of it. It is really fun, beginning at the seach for a project I want to tag. While my search I found following beautiful card made by Nela from Nela's Basteleien. She even won top 3 at our challenges few weeks ago. No wonder!

Hallo und willkommen zu einem neuen 'Tag, you're it' Dienstag. Heute zeige ich (Karina) Euch wen ich getaggt habe und was ich daraus gemacht habe. Es macht echt grossen Spass, erst ein Werk zu suchen als Inspiration für meine eigene Kreation. Auf meiner Suche bin ich auf die folgende tolle Karte von Nela von Nela's Basteleien gestossen. Sie hat mit dieser Karte sogar die Top 3 bei den Whiff of Joy Challenges gewonnen vor ein paar Wochen... kein Wunder!

 

I especially love her color combo, one of my favorite too. So this inspired me to create something in those colors too. I also overtook the sketch from her. And this is what I created:

I mag insbesondere diese Farbkombination, eine meiner Lieblingskombi. So war ich inspiriert auch eine Karte in dieser Kombi zu basteln. Ich habe auch Nela's Sketch übernommen. Und hier seht Ihr das Ergebnis:

Make a Card Monday

 

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a new Make A Card Monday project with you. The card today is as usual a very clean and simple card that is easy and fast to make.

To make this card I stamped the background on the edge of a white cardstock, then I also stamped my sentiment in the opposite corner using the same ink. To make the teal ink pop out more I matted the white cardstock on a black background and then adhered all of it to a white cardbase. Afterwards I realized that the white cardbase didn't really bring it all together the way I wanted, to I added the teal ink to the edge of the card base to tie it all together better.

Scrap your Stash

 Hello!

Natasha here today with a new project using one of the awesome digital images from Whiff of Joy. The image is called "Piano Henry". This time I have used some of the digital papers by Whiff of Joy as well. After printing them, cutting them in shape I sprinkled some coffee (water and instant coffee mixture) on the papers. To add some more interest I added some white pain.

Heute bin ich, Natascha, wieder dran euch ein neues Projekt zu zeigen. Dieses Mal habe ich einen digitalen Stempel von Whiff of Joy verarbeitet, den so genannten Henry am Klavier. Außerdem habe ich auch Digipapiere von Whiff of Joy verarbeitet. Nach dem Ausdrucken und Zuschneiden habe ich die Papiere mit einer Instantkaffee und Wasser Mischung bestprüht. Die Farben sind super schön vom Kaffee verdrengt worden. Um die ganze Karte stimmig zu gestalten, habe ich die Kanten der Papiere mit weißer Farbe bepinselt.

Make your selfmade savings box, Tudorial Thursday!

Hi Everyone!

It´s Tudorial Thursday and my (Bianca´s) turn to show you something new for try by yourself.

I deside to show you how to make a savings box. It´s a perfect little gift ore also fab for your self and save your money for something important like new Whiff of Joy stamps *giggle*.

This is what you will need:

* a round can ore box made of clear plastic with a reuseable cap

* designerpapers

* WoJ stamp image of your joice mine is:

* some dies for decoration mine are:
Herzbanner and Geschachtelte Herzen

* carpet cutter ore other cutting tool
*glue, scissors a.s.o.

I have start my project with - RELAXING in my bathtube 

as my plastic can was the packing of a very fine bath salt but you can use a can also from other goods as long as its made of clear plastic and has a cap to close and open again and again.

As all this cans will have diverent diameters. I don´t use any size informations in my tudorial! But don´t be afraid it´s really so very easy!

First of all you have to cut a money slit into the lid. That´s tricky as the plastic is not very soft.
Please take care of your fingers! 
I have ask my hubby for help and he cut´s the slit with one of his electric tools. It also works with a carped knife but the electric toll is more finger friendly if you ask me ;-)

If you have the slit the most tricky part is done. Now cut a pize of designerpaper as tall as the coverage of your can and use the glue for stick it on the can.

If you wish to have a window for see how much money is inside you can shorten the paper a little bit so that it´s not as tall as the can. If you don´t want to have a window you can also use a can of heavy card ore plastic in colors.

Take care of the cap as you must be abel to open it again. Just don´t give glue on that parts of paper and don´t let the paper overlaping the cap.
If you belief it ore not - this is it!
Now you can start to decorate the can.

today I show you a tag only made with Whiff of Joy Die-lights. In some weeks we have spring and I thought I make a tag in spring colours. I used some sentiments especially for the banners.

Hallo,

 

heute zeige ich euch einen Tag, den ich nur mit Hilfe von Whiff of Joy Die-lights gebastelt habe. In einigen Wochen beginnt der Frühling und darum habe ich mir gedacht, ich mache den Tag in Frühlingsfarben. Für die Banner habe ich dafür passende Texte verwendet.

Ich hoffe ihr mögt diesen einfachen Tag.

Stuff by Whiff of Joy

 

With Sympathy cards

Hi all, I hope you all had some lovely holidays and a good start

of 2015.

It is my first post for the Whiff of Joy blog this year and I have

choosen a difficult subject for me, With Sympathy cards.

Alas I had to make some of these cards recently 

and they are always very hard to make for me.

The reason I do make them is that I know the receiver is so happy with them.

I love the Stephanie Schütze stamps from Whiff of Joy.

They can be used in so many ways and also for my With Sympathy cards I

am sharing with you all today.

On my first one I used the Feathers collection.

I used three different colours and texture, white stazon, black pigment ink and

copper embossing powder.

I also used three different feathers from the sheet.

I kept my card very clean and simple, I even did not add a cat on them :)

For my next card, I used the leaves stamp set.

I used dark brown pigment ink for stamping the leave.

Again, I kept it very, very simple.
