Make a card Monday

 

Hello! Maria here with a new creation for Make a card Monday! Of course, since the title says: make a card, today I have a mini Christmas card for you.

To create these trees, I used post it notes to create the shape of a triangle and then add colour inside the shape. Really easy and quick if you don't have triangle stamps or trees.

Good morning!!  And Happy Saturday! Yay!! It's the Weekend again! I love the weekend! It should be much longer though!

Today I'm sharing a Whiff of Joy project with you using a non Christmas image, but I made it a Christmas Card. This is little Thinking of You Maya from the Whiff of Joy Shop. So, she is writing a letter to Santa :)  I thought it worked! 

I colored her with my Copic Markers. I did a little bit of decoupage... the kitties head, her head and arms and the envelope. These papers are all papers from last years Christmas creations. I am trying to use up all of my Christmas papers instead of buying new... which I thoroughly enjoy doing LOL  So, with last years Christmas papers I have cut the stamp shape for the card, the stamp shape top with the santa paper, the red paper I distressed the edges. Everything is really old that I've used for this card. The dew drops are the newest item and I think they are at least 6 months old in my stash. The flowers, the gems, the twine... Yep.. they are all WAY OLD!!  And the soda can top is recycled. I covered it with gold UTEE. And for the sentiment... I have tens of thousands of fonts! Crazy I know.. but I have just about anything you would ever want... so I created Dear Santa in a child like font and printed that out. Thank you so much for taking the time to look!!

today is coloring time and I want to show this card with you! 

I color this cute digi stamp' thinking of you' with my copics!

I have use these grey tones for this cute cat! 

 These colors I have used for her hair! 

And this is my card!  

So as you can see this digi stamp is also good for a Christmas card :-)

gepimpte Streichholzschachtel

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute möchte ich euch eine gepimpte Streichholzschachtel zeigen.

Gerade in dieser dunklen Jahreszeit braucht man doch mal eher schnell ein Streichholz um Kerzen anzuzünden.

Tag your it !

Hi everyone, it is Marion today.

It is Tuesday and that means it is time for Tag your it.

I see so many lovely creations made with Whiff of Joy stuff, that I 

get so much inspiration off.

One blog that pops out for me is Kuni's blog. aka Annett's blog.

You can tell she loves Whiff of Joy stuff and I so adore the cards

and creations she makes. 

Everytime it is a pleasure visiting her blog with a new creation.

 She colours fabulously and always adds perfectly matched papers and embelishments.

Having said that, it was hard for me to choosing a card from her blog.

My eye fell on this fab card made with one of the Secret Stamp kit fall stamps:

I so love the colours of this card that I decided to use most of the colours for my card.

I made a Christmas card with the colours (except the orange colour).

I used some glaze on the cookies, but it is always hard to get on a picture.

Natasha here today with a new card and a preview for the upcoming 4th Stamp Kit 2014. Did you already ordered your kit? I love it and had to share this cute little guy and the sentiment. For my Christmas card I used some silver, creme, kraft and white colors.

Ich liebe das neue Set und musste einfach eins der tollen Motive mit dem süßen Kerl und dem tollen Spruch mit euch teilen. Für meine Weihnachtskarte habe ich vor allem die Farben silber, creme, kraft und weiß verwendet.
