Scrap your stash

XOXO Sonja

Color me happy

 Hallo!
***
Hello!
Natasha here again with a new project and inspiration matching the "Color me happy" theme. I would love to share a new little pendant I made. This cute little Henry image is new and it comes with the new Autumn Kit 2014. The image is colered with my water coloring pencils.

***
And here you can see how the finished project looks like. It is small and I could't put more decoration on it.

***
I love to look aroaund in the Blogworld and get inspired by you. There is one thing I often see and I thougt I would share this with you. You put loots of effort to color your images but the background stays white. To show you the difference to my coloring I made a before and after background photo. On the left is the image colored but the sweet Henry looks like he is floating in the air. On the right you see just some little shadows under Henry's feet and on his right side plus a horizon line. Just a simple trick to get Henry on the ground without lots of work. Doesn't it look better?

Natascha

Tutorial "How to make a little tag"

Good mornig Whiff of Joy friends,

today I show you a small tutorial how I make little tags. On the first picture I show you some of my materials I used. Later I use some more stuff. You'll see.

First step: I cut out the tag and the doily and colour my image.

I mark the middle of the tag with a pencil.

Then I set the eyelet with my Crop-A-Dile.

For more depth at my cuts I glue about four pieces on each other.

That's the result.

I made these ones.

And my finish tag you see here.

I hope you'll like my little tutorial.
Thanks for watching.

Hugs

Hello everyone, I am so happy to be doing today's post. If you don't know about it, its when we get to share and choose someone's work that inspires us and then create something similar.

And this is how we can find your projects:

Via our Facebook page/group, Pinterest or among the entries of our challenge. If you are sharing a Whiff of Joy project through social medias tag us with @whiffofjoy or #whiffofjoy and we will find it :)

I am happy to share the lovely Alice's project, you can find her blog at Alice's Little Wonderland. She was on Whiff of Joy's design team and I love her simple yet striking cards with beautiful colouring of her images.

I love her style and had a go making a Christmas card using Henry Hugging a Christmas Bauble.

The sentiment is This is December and I finished it off with a flower and leaves, trying to keep the embellishments to the minimum.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to you sharing your projects with us!
