 Hello there creative friends. It's me Maria with a new creation for you today. Because today it's ''Make a card Monday'',  I am going to share a beautiful marine themed card. We all know that the colour palette for the marine is: red, blue and white. This tip made my work much more easier.

 As always, for colouring I used inktense pencils. I just simply love them and they are they best.

Color me Happy

Hallo zusammen, 

hier ist Anja und heute möchte ich euch zeigen wie ich einen Hintergrund mit Twinklings gestalte.

Hi there, 

here is Anja and today I want to show you a background painting with Twinklings.

Hier kommt erstmal die fertige Karte:

Die neuen Digi Stempel gibt es ab dem 20.07.14 im Shop.

Und nun zu den Twinklings :) 

Ihr braucht ein Stück Aquarellpapier, einen Wassertankpinsel und Twinklings in blau und grün. 

Eine Sprühflasche mit Wasser wird ebenfalls benötigt. 

And now to the Twinklings :) 

You need a piece of watercolor paper, a watertank brush and Twinklings in blue and green. 

A spray bottle with water is also needed.

Das Papier wird zuerst mit Wasser besprüht und dann mit den Twinklings eingefärbt. 

The paper is first sprayed with water and then inked with the Twinklings.

Dann noch einmal das ganze mit Wasser besprühen und anschließend mit einem Heißluftfön trocknen. 

Das schimmert alles so toll :)

Spray Water again and dry it with the heat gun. 

Everything shines so great :)

Das Papier kann nun geprägt werden und die Ränder habe ich noch mit Distress Ink eingefärbt. 

The paper can now be embossed and the edges I have colored with Distress Ink.

Pillowbox with a bow closure

Hello everyone,

Today it's my (Jeanet) turn to show you something.

I want to share a

 pillowbox with a bow closure 

with you.

At the end of this blogpost you find my template of it,

I used one sheet of designpaper for the pillowbox.

As you can see I have inked the edges a little bit with distress ink.

The cute image I used on the tag is from the summer stamp kit,

from the 20th of July also available as digi images!!

Tag you're it- Tuesday!

Hi all Whiff of Joy fans!

Today is "Tag you're it"-Tuesday and it's me, Linda, here with you. Did you all ever know the difference between a lift and a case? I have done them both today to illustrate the differences for you. :-) 

For my case (short for Copy And Steel Everything) I have asked Sandy if I could use her gorgeous card - isn't it beautiful?!? 

This is my card.... I have copied the layout, the color theme, the flower arrangement, the decorations and almost the image... ;-) 

Here is a close up on the image called Angel Henry. For my coloring I have used distress refils in antique linnen, vintage photo and frayed burlap. The star and halo is colored with scattered straw. I have also added lots of Stickles. 

For my lift, Julie, was kind to let me use her card. I just love how she uses the colors and all the detailing.

 

This is my lift. This means I have been inspired by Julie's card and used certain elements but still have given the card my own personal touch. I have lifted the layout and the circular image as well as parts of the color scheme but added some more brown/beige instead of the yellow. 

Here is the image called Angel Maya with Star that I used my Copic Markers to color. 

These are the colors I have used;

Dress: B 37, 34, 32, 00

Hair: E 34, 30, E53, YR20

Halo and stars: Y 38, 15, 000

Skin: E 13, 11, 00

Wings: E 53, 51, 50

And loads of Stickels :-D
