Make A Card Monday - Christmas in July

Good morning everyone! And happy start to a new week. I hope you all have a great one! Today I am sharing one of my Christmas cards. I have been trying to get some Christmas Cards done each month.. at least one! I'm not exactly sure how I have done, but I have managed to get another one finished. For this one I used Christmas Henry Wrapped Up. I decided on a Joy Fold Card. It is one of my favorite cards to make.

I used the Christmas Henry Wrapped Up. I used all scraps of paper that I had in my box. I colored the image with my Copic Markers. I added twine to the center fold on the card and I also added it to the button on the front. I decoupaged Henry a bit. I popped the bow one level and then I popped the bottom ribbon of the bow and his feet one more level. I added gems to the inside next to the sentiment, which also has been heat embossed around the edge with Aged Green Embossing Enamel. I did also stitch around the papers on this card.

Have a wonderful day everyone and happy crafting!

Scrap you stash

Hello Whiff of Joy fans,

today I show you a card which I made with some "older" products from Whiff of Joy. I always love to use old and new stuff together. This time I made a very simple card for a man.

I have used this cute Henry on his bike. Love that image. It perfectly fits to a man. I coloured it with my Copics. I don't use any pattern paper because I think it looks more vintage. I'm a big fan of the pretty Fran-táge. So I embossed some Shunky White and Aged Ochre around the image.

Spring Bees - 3D Foam Tape

Hello everyone, I have a fun card to share with you today where I have popped up part of the image with 3D foam tape. Its really simple and easy to do but the result is great!

I have used 'Spring Bees - Simply Maya' and coloured with Copics. Stamp the image twice and colour the first one but don't worry about shading except for the branches as these will be exposed. Then colour the bees and flowers, this is the image you are going to cut.

Cut the bees and flowers as close to the lines as possible and use a craft knife to cut the little bits you can't get to with your scissors.

Pop some 3D foam tape onto the back of your cut images and adhere to the first stamped image.

From a different angle, you can see how it adds extra dimension to your image.

My finished card.

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed it.

Wednesday Dielight

Hi all, it is Marion today and today I want to share a card with you
that I made with no coloured image, I just used two stampsets from
Stephanie Schütze.
You know that I love to colour images and make projects with
images, so this post was a real challenge.
This is what I came up with:

close-ups:

I used embossing powder as extra texture on the cute birdie.
The hearts and flowers on the top and bottom of the card are rubons.
I hope I have given you some inspiration and see you again next time.
Happy Crafting & Hugs,
Marion
