Hello everyone, I have this gorgeous image 'Together Forever Kitty & Maya' to share with you today and I have coloured her with Copics.

 

 



I have taken a couple of photo's so you can see the colours I have used.

 

 

 

And this is my finished card, I kept the design of the card pretty simple so my image could be the main focus. The sentiment is included in 'Together Forever Kitty & Maya'.

Hier ist Kathrin mit einem neuen Tutorial Thursday für Euch.

Wie Ihr wisst, zeigen wir Euch donnerstags entweder ein neues Tutorial oder aber ein Werk, das nach einem der vielen wundervollen Tutorials auf diesem Blog gemacht ist. Nun, ich habe heute ein bisschen von beidem für Euch...

While browsing for an idea I came across this door hanger tutorial by Jeanet.

Beim Suchen nach einer Idee bin ich auf dieses Door-Hanger-Tutorial von Jeanet gestoßen.

This is a wonderful tutorial for a little gift. But if you only want to make a small version of it you can easily do it using the pillowbox die-light from Whiff of Joy. And I'm going to show you how.

Ich finde diesen Türhänger als kleines Geschenk wunderbar. Und falls Ihr nur eine kleine Version davon machen wollt, ist die einfach und schnell mit der Pillowbox Die-Light von Whiff Of Joy gemacht. Und ich zeige Euch hier, wie.

 

Put the die-light on top of your cardstock. Then put the last acrylic plate o top, starting a little underneath the two upper ovals. This way, only the lower part of the pillowbox will be cut out.

Legt Euer Die-Light auf Euren Cardstock für den Türhänger. Dann legt die oberste Schneideplatte obenauf, aber so, dass sie erst knapp unterhalb der beiden oberen Ovale aufliegt. Auf diese Weise wird nur der untere Teil der Pillowbox ausgestanzt.

This is what your cardstock will look like if you take it out your cutting machine.

So sieht Euer Cardstock aus, wenn Ihr ihn aus Eurer Schneidemaschine nehmt.

Now you only need to cut the remaining parts - the higher back panel and the half circle on the front panel. Then use a circle punch to make the handle.

Nun braucht Ihr nur noch die übrigen Teile auszuschneiden - den höheren hinteren Teil des Türhängers und den halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt am vorderen Teil. Verwendet einen Kreisstanzer, um den "Griff" auszustanzen.

Glue everything together and start decorating!

 I used this cute "Love is in the Air" image by Alison Acton. Colored in with very light colors I think it fits perfectly on this little door hanger like it would say a little bird flew by and left this gift for you...

Ich habe diesen süßen Vogel "Liebe liegt in der Luft" von Alison Acton verwendet. In zarten Pastelltönen coloriert passt er perfect auf den kleinen Türhänger, so als würde er sagen wollen, dass ein kleines Vögelchen vorbeigeflogen ist und dieses Geschenk da gelassen hat...

On the top end I added a little cupcake charm from the Box of Charms No. 1, connected to one of the cute little tags from the Doorhangers Die-Light Set and a german saying from the Kalorienreich text set. It means "Eat me".

Am oberen Ende habe ich einen kleinen Cupcake-Charm aus der Box of Charms Nr. 1 angebracht, festgebunden an einem der süßen kleinen Anhänger aus dem Türhänger Die-Light Set und einem Text aus dem Text-Set Kalorienreich.

Good morning readers! Today we have another presentation of our newest Die-Lights Videos. We are working to make sure that each of our wonderful Die-lights has its' own unique video! I so adore and love her projects.

When I saw this card I just had to use it as inspiration:

I used the shabby chic style, the colours white and blue, the butterflie and the three little roses next to eachother as

inspiration for my card.

My Crafty Space

Hello!

Natascha here :) Today is my turn to show you aroud my little crafts corner or my craft room. And this is my work table. I love to have all the staff I need right around me. My favourite tools are neer me and I have just to grab them without searching.

Hallo!

Hier ist Natascha und ich zeige euch heute meine kleine Bastelecke bzw. mein Bastelzimmer. Auf dem ersten Bild seht ihr meinen eigentlichen Arbeitsplatz. Ich liebe es all meinen Kram gleich um mich zu haben und ich brauche nur die Hände auszustrecken und habe gleich das richtige in der Hand ohne großartig suchen zu müssen.

 While crafting I often listen to music via my laptop or what my favourite series. I have my frinds with me as well. We chat through Skype or talk.

Ich höre oft Musik oder gucke nebenbei meine Lieblingsserien über meinen Laptop während ich am Basteln bin. Meine Freundinen begleiten mich auch sehr oft durch Skype. 

 

 Here is my lovely Expedit sheft. My desk and this sheft were the first furniture in my craft room and there goes so much stuff in there. I just love it :). Above are some boxes with my Cameostuff, sewing equipments, stuff to recyle for new projects and some thrown together stuff for vintage projects.

 Hier seht ihr mein heißgeliebtes Expedit Regal. Als ich mir das Zimmer vor Jahren eingerichtet habe, war es mit dem Tisch zusammen das erste Möbelstück and da passen echt viele Sachen rein. Naja, was soll ich sagen: Ich liebe es :) Ganz oben habe ich Kisten mit meinem Cameokram, einigen Nähsachen, was zum Recyceln für neue Projekte und Sammelsurium and Sachen für Vintage Projekte.

 

 Here you can see what I have neer me all the time I craft. There are some embellishments, construction paper, glitterpens, pearlpens, ribbons, pearls, trimmer, inks and tools. Somewhat lover are my envelopes, card blanks, crochet yarn, some single stamps, books and special papers.

Hier könnt ihr auch etwas besser ins Regal reingucken und sehen was ich um mich herum alles angesammelt habe. Dort sind einige Embellishments, Tonpapier, Glitzerstifte, Perlenpens, Schleifenbänder, Halbperlen, meine Schneidetools, Stempelkisen und mehr. Weiter unten sind dann Umschläge, Kartenrohlinge, Häkelgarn, Einzelstempel, Bücher und Spezialpapiere.

 

After some years I have increased my storage space with some more shelves. The white one is only for stamps.

Nach einigen Jahren war mir das eine Regel einfach zu wenig Stauraum, also mussten noch mehr Regale her. Das weiße schmale Regal beinhaltet nur Stempel.

 I got this metalic heart from my husband and it is so pretty to show my cards and because I have to much ribbon it got to share its space with lots of ribbon as well.

Dieses Metalherz war ein Geschenk von meinem Mann und dient nun als Kartenständer und weil ich einfach sehr viele Schleifenbänder habe, muss das Herz auch diese mit tragen.

 

The most of my image stamps are stored in CD cases.

Die meisten meiner Motivstempel werden in CD Hüllen aufbewahrt.

 

Here are my design papers and some more wood mounted and clear stamps, dies, flowers, lace and my Big Shot. I store my paper scraps in black boxes and in pocketbags you see at the bottom. I have one bag for construction papers, one for cardstock and one for design papers. Lots of present and my older projects decorate my whole room.

Here seht ihr die anderen zwei Regale mit Papieren, einigen weiteren Clear Stempel und Holzstempel, Stanzen, Blumen, Spitze und meine Big Shot. Meine Papierreste habe ich verteilt auf die schwarzen Boxen und auf die Sortiertaschen unten im Bild. Eine für Tonpapiere, eine für Tonkarton und eine für Design Papiere. Viele Geschenke und auch meine eigenen Projekte schmücken das gesammte Zimmer.

My kids love to craft as well and they have some little space in my room. If they are not around, I put my sewing machine there :)

Meine Kinder basteln auch sehr gerne und haben in meinem Zimmer einen kleinen Tisch für sich. Wenn sie gerade nicht da sind, stelle ich gerne meine Nähmaschine da ab :)

Here is my latest project on my table. I love buttons and I can't have anough of them. Here I was searching for some in blue. For my Whiff of Joy projects I have a box with all of my Whiff of Joy papers, digipaper scraps and embellishments put together ready to combinate.

Hier seht ihr gerade mein letztes Project. Ich liebe ja Knöpfe und ich kann einfach nie genug von ihnen haben. Hier auf dem Bild war ich gerade auf der Suche nach blauen Knöpfen. Für meine Whiff of Joy Projekte habe ich eine Box mit allen meinen Whiff of Joy Papieren, Digipapierresten und Deko.

 

And this is my photo box to get my projects all lighted up to take perfect photos. I haven't much space to leave it in this ready to go option but you can just fold it together and save space.

Und hier seht ihr meine Fotobox, die ich zum Fotografieren meiner Projekte verwende. Ich habe nicht viel Platz um die Box dauerhaft aufgebaut zu lassen, also falte ich sie immer nach dem Fotografieren zusammen und räume sie bei Seite.

I love ribbon and buttons, my tools and papers and I am weak to trash leftovers. So I collect lots of little ribbon stripes and paper stripes as well.

Ich liebe Schleifenbänder und Knöpfe, meine Werkzeuge und Papiere und ich habe eine Schwäche für Schnipselreste. Also sammle ich alles was so über bleibt.

 

This big sorting sheft for tools I've got for my last birthday. I have started to put some of my embellishmets in there sorted by theme. It is so easy to grab them while crafting and store as well.

Dieses Sortierregal für Werkzeuge habe ich zum letzten Geburtstag bekommen und da bewahre ich meine Deko nach Themen sortiert auf. Es ist so schön praktisch ein Fach beim Basteln rauszuziehen und dann wieder wegzuräumen.

And here is my big love besides my husband:) I love my Silhouette Cameo and I use this cutting machine a lot to cut bags, boxes and little embellishments for my cards.

Und das ist meine große Liebe neben meinem Ehemann :) Ich liebe meine Silhouette Cameo und ich verwende sie sehr gerne um Taschen und Boxen aber auch für die Deko auf meinen Karten.
