Tag You're It

Hi, Valentina here. It is my first official post as a Digital Contributor for Wiff of Joy blog and  I am happy to be a part of the DT.

As you already know each Tuseday the DT members will take a project of one of  you as a template for her own project. Searching for a inspirational WoJ tags I came across a beautiful tag made by really talented Dunja

I was so inspired by this lovely and really cute star tag that I made a lift of it, even using her template
and here what I came up with:

Colouring with Copics and Prisma Colour Pencils...

ColorMeHappy

Morning all...Vicky here today to share with some colouring tips on how I use my Copics and Prisma Pencils together...plus I also be showing you a gorgeous project the lovely and very talented Maria has made too..

and here is the card I have made with the combination of Copics and Prisma Pencils..

and here is how I coloured this adorable image

I first coloured the image using my Copics...you can see I have achieved some shading...but not very intense like the finished card..

I then used my pencils to add some shading around the image...

Then I have used paper stumps {you can see they are well used..lol.} in a circular motion to blend in the lines by using a low odour Solvent like Sansodor.

You can see from the finished image, the shading is more intense and I feel it gives a better overall appearance...

and here are the Copics I used..

and the pencils..

and another good tip is to make sure your pencils are kept sharp...!!

and here is the finished card again..

Items Used..

and now I'm going to share with you a beautiful project the lovely Maria has made..

Hello everyone,

I have a fun card for you today. I made a telescope card, because is really interesting to change the shape of your regular base cards.

To me the main focal point is the stamped image, must be the key to my project. For this I use Inktense pencils for my coloring. If you ever used watercolor pencils then you can work with these pencils. They are awesome quality, but they are much more intense than regular watercolor pencils. If you have a small set of pencils/markers, then don't worry. You can get the same effect by using one or two pencils/ markers. The key is to give some time to your first layer of color to dry and then add more using the same pencil/marker. This will make the color look darker/ intense.

A chocolate box drawer!

Hi this is Linda here today with a tutorial to share with you! I love to alter little gifts for friends and today I'd like to show you a chocolate box drawer that I made for one of the girls that follow my FB-page.

This is what the finished piece looks like....

This is what you need; a chocolate box of choice, some patterned papers, 2 cardstock of the same color, decorations and an adorably cute Whiff of Joy image of course.

It also helps to have a cutting board, a scoreboard and ruler.

So this is how you do it. Start by measuring the box you'd like to use. Measurements for this particular box are:

Box: 30,5 cm times 23,9 cm (fold at 14,2 then 16,4 and from the other side at 2,2 cm and then on 21,4 cm)
Drawer: 23,9 cm times 18,6 cm (fold 2,2 cm in from all sides)

Fold along the sides and cut "flaps" so that you can fold and glue the box together. I have to use one cardstock for the box and one for the drawer.

Here is the drawer glued together in the corners.

Here I have also glued the box together and the drawer fits perfectly inside.

Then all you have left to do is the fun part - decorate!! This is how mine turned out.

A close up on the image. For coloring I have used Copics.

Here is a picture from the side to see the handle used for opening the drawer.

Thank you for visiting today!!
