Teebuch / Teabook

Hallo und einen schönen Sonntag Morgen,
Hello and a happy sunday morning,

today we want to show you a little tutorial for a teabook.

Material:
- 4x 29 x 9 cm Aquarellpapier/Tonkarton (ca. 160 gr.)
- Textstempel/Hintergrundstempel
- Scorpal, Schere, Klebeband, Crop-a-dile
- Kreisstanzer
- 8 Teebeutel abgepackt

3x 14,5 x 9,5 cm
3x 14 x 9 cm
4x  14,5 x 3 cm
2x 14 x 2,5 cm
2x 14,5 x 2,5 cm
2x 14 x 2 cm

Material:
- 4x cardstock with an lower weight (~ 160 gr.)
- scorpal, scissor, glue, sticky tape, crop-a-dile
- circle punch
- 8 teabags
- something for the decoration

For my Teabook I´ve used Design paper in the following sizes:
3x 14,5 x 9,5 cm
3x 14 x 9 cm
4x  14,5 x 3 cm
2x 14 x 2,5 cm
2x 14,5 x 2,5 cm
2x 14 x 2 cm

We start folding our teabook, take the 30 x 15 cm cardstock and fold on the long side at the following sizes, 10, 13.5, 23.5 and 26.5 cm.

If you have made all the folds, curve the 3.5 cm section. This works perfectly with the help from a lamp stand or any other bigger round item.

Now we fold the "bookpages", take the 29 x 9 cm paper and fold it at 8 and 22 cm, make a little mark at 15 cm for the glue stripe.

Bring on the stripe in the midle (therefore was the mark), on a long side an on one of the side parts, like the picture.

Now make a mark with your ruler and pencil from each side 3,5 cm (Take care, that you use the OPEN side) and punch out an half circle.

The glued and punched pages are ready to stamp on they with the basic background from whiff of Joy.

Now finish your design paper before we glue it on the book.

Glue your ribbon at two places on the outside.
Design-Papier aufkleben aussen....

Glue the design paper outside....
....und dann noch die Innenseite.

....and inside your book.

Now make two punches on top and at the bottom of your spine.

Turn the book and put the "bookpages" inside. Make a mark on the bookpages on the same place at the book spine is perforated. Punch out a hole upstairs and downstairs.

Take the twine and fix your pages in the book, go by the holes three times and finish with an bow.

Its´s done, your teebook is ready for decoration.

Hope you´re liking it and you want to drink a cup of tea now.

hugs Clarissa
