Keep your memories: A Fall Layout by Katharina Frei

Happy monday everybody! Today I am sharing a fall scrapbooking page I created using stamps and dies from Whiff of Joy. Lots of our wonderful products can not only be used for cardmaking and papercrafts, but also for scrapbooking, project life, pocket scrapbooking and for creating minibooks.

 

I used the following two items to create my page. I even used the inside cut outs from the leaves. The white feather is also a piece of memory, because my elder son found it for me.

Heute möchte ich euch eine herbstliche Scrapbooking Seite zeigen, die ich mit Produkten von Whiff of Joy gestaltet habe. Unsere Produkte sind nicht nur genial zum Karten- und Geschenkebasteln, sondern auch zum Scrapbooking, für Project Life, für das so genannte “Pocket Scrapbooking (Snqp etc.), Smashbooking und auch zum gestalten von Minialben.

Ich habe die obigen 2 WoJ Produkte verwendet, um meine Scrapbooking Seite zu gestalten. Sogar das “Innere” der Blätter (was normalerweise im Mistkübel landet) fand Verwendung :) Die weisse Feder ist auch ein besonderes Erinnerungsstück für mich, da diese von meinem älteren Sohn für mich gefunden wurde.

The use of individually die-cut shapes (created with dies) adds a lot of dimension to your scrapbooking pages. There are lots of advantages for using dies instead of pre die-cut shapes.

• You can cut loads of shapes with one die ( the pre-cut ones will be used up sometime)
• You can use your dies with various papers and always cut exactly the color you need (pre-cut shapes often only match one paper collection)
• Dies are more cost effective, because you can cut as many as you like.

 Durch den Einsatz von individuell ausgestanzten Formen mittels Stanzen kann man einem Scrapbooking Layout viel Dimension geben. Der Vorteil zu schon vorgestanzt erhältlichen Formen liegt klar auf der Hand:

• Mit ein und derselben Stanze kann ich so viele Formen wie ich will ausstanzen (die gekauften sind irgendwann alle)
• Ich kann mir die Formen zu jedem beliebigen Papier passend ausstanzen (die gekauften passen meistens nur zu 1 Kollektion)
• Auf Grund der Menge, die ich mit einer Stanze ausstanzen kann ist deren Anschaffung kostengünstiger als bei den vorgestanzten Formen.

Windlicht / tealight tutorial

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hello,

heute haben die Schnipselchen eine Anleitung für ein schnelles Windlicht für Euch.

Today  the Schnipselchen have a tutorial for a fast tealight for you.


Material/material: 

"Die-Lights" Nested-Die Weihnachtsbaum


- 1 leere Bänderrolle
- 1 Streifen weißen Cardstock ca. 3 x 27 cm passend für die Rolle
- 2 Bogen A4 Transparentpapier
- Kleber
- Grosgrain Ripsband ca. 40 cm
- 1 LED Teelicht oder ein echtes Teelicht mit einem Glas
- Deko zum Verzieren

"Die Lights" Nested-Die Christmastree

- 1 Blank tape role

- 1 stripe white cardstock matching for the role (3 x 27 cm)

- 2x A4  transparent paper

- glue

- Grosgrain-Rips ribbon 40 cm

- 1 LED tealight or a real tealight with a glass

- dekoration

 

So, nun geht’s los. Dreht als erstes eine Seite der Bänderrolle ab, um diese legt Ihr den Cardstockstreifen und klebt ihn fest.

Now, turn of the role from the ribbon. Lay the cardstock around the role and glue it.

Als nächstes müsst Ihr mind. je 5 mal jeden der Bäume aus dem Transparentpapier ausstanzen. Diese könnt Ihr bestelmpeln, prägen oder Ihr lasst sie einfach „natur“. Nun werden die Bäumchen versetzt und überlappend auf die Rolle geklebt. Ich fange immer mit den großen und den mittleren an und klebe am Ende die kleinen an.

Punched 5 piece all the trees. You can stamp it or emboss if you want. Now, glue the trees displaced on the ribbon role. Beginn with the largest and the medium. And in the end the smallest one.

Nun müsst Ihr nur noch das Band um den Ansatz kleben, Teelicht reinstellen und fertig ist Euer Windlicht. 

Glue the ribbon around your tealight and it´s done.

Jetzt könnt Ihr Euer Windlich noch nacht Herzenslust dekorieren. Ich habe auch noch 4 weiße Wattekugeln als Füße angeklebt. 

Now you can decoration the tealight. I glued another 4 balls as feet.
