Die-light Rose auf Pillowbox

Ich habe mal wieder etwas mit meiner Rosenstanze herum probiert und habe dabei festgestellt das sich die Rosen ganz leicht drehen lassen, wenn man den Cardstock mit etwas Wasser anfeuchtet .

Ihr besprüht das gestanzte Teil von beiden Seiten mit etwas Wasser, nehmt eine Pinzette und dreht das feuchte Stanzteil zu einer Rose.

Anschließend wird das fertig gedrehte Stanzteil mit dem Heißluftföhn getrocknet,

 Nach dem Föhnen könnt ihr mit Hilfe der Pinzette die Ränder etwas nach unten biegen, geklebt habe ich bisher noch nichts an der Rose, das kommt erst im nächsten Schritt mit ein paar Blätterzweigen.....

 Wenn ihr möchtet könnt ihr nun die Rosenblüte noch etwas verzieren, entweder mit Stickles oder wie ich es gemacht habe mit etwas Glitzerpuder.

..well not really as it's still a wee bit of summer here where I live but it's always nice to have a little stack of Christmas card already made up when December comes as there is always lots to do that month..

heute möchte ich euch wieder einen Umschlag zeigen, welchen ich nach der tollen Idee von Kathrin gemacht habe. Sie hat diesen workshop bereits in der Whiff of Joy Ideenwelt gezeigt und seither ist das eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsverpackungen für Gutschein...

today I want to show a wonderful tutorial made by Kathrin and you have seen it on the World of Ideas a few weeks ago.

...diesmal sollte es ein Umschlag für Konzertkarten sein, was würde da besser passen, als der MJ Henry, naja, ausser es sind vielleicht Karten für ein Reinhard Fendrich Konzert *g*...

I have made an envelope for concerttickets and used the MJ Henry.

Die Tickets habe ich diesmal auf Stempelleinen gestempelt.

I stamped the ticket sentiments on "Stempelleinen" (sorry, I don´t know the meaning in English)


Als "Aufreiss-Verschluss" verwende ich eine Stanze, allerdings funktioniert das auch super nach Kathrins Anleitung, mit dem Nährad... (heißt das sooo??)

Sew Sweet Sewing Box!

 

Hi there crafty friends! It's Mindy here with my first guest designer post here at Whiff of Joy!

 

This is my first project using the new Sew Sweet Collection. I have used Sew Cute - Maya. I made a little box and it has a folder on top of it. I put a little sewing kit in the folder and the spools of thread in the box! I found the little kit at the dollar store! Pretty good deal, eh!?

 

Well, I'm happy to be able to share my Whiff of Joy creations with you for the next 6 months.

Winter Church

Welcome to my very first post as a Whiff Of Joy guest designer.

Today I have a card to share which I've created using the beautiful Winter Church stamp by Elizabeth Bell.

I've coloured the Winter Church with copics and added lots of texture using glitter snow so in real life this beautiful image really does sparkle.
