Paperbag Album

Guten Morgen zusammen

Good morning everyone,
It's my turn for a tutorial again today.
I want to show you the production of an album made of
sandwich bags.

Ihr braucht:
Frühstückbeutel
Kleber
Designpapier
Deko

You need:
Sandwich bags
Design paper
glue
Decoration

Also fangen wir an
Well, let's start:

zuerst schneidet Ihr die Öffnung gleich und
knickt den Boden auf ca die hälfte ein
First, you cut the openings equally, then you fold the bottom on the half.

Now you glue both sides of the bag.
This will give a bit of stability.

 So bekommt Ihr Taschen.
you stick the embarked site to the border of the bag.
That's how you get bags.

Because the bags are white, i sprayed them with Twinkling H2O.
Katharina showed you here how it works.

Nun machen wir das Eyelets als Buchringe
Now we're going to make Eyelets as Bookrings.

 So sieht das dann aus
That's how it looks like

Jetzt sind wir fast fertig. Bevor ihr die Bindung macht,
beklebt die Tüten mit  Designerpapier
We're nearly done. Before you do the binding, we stick designer paper on the bags.

I chose a simple string binding.

Jetzt geht es ans Dekorieren. Hier seht ihr mein fertiges Buch
Now we're decorating. Here you can see my finished book.

Ich wünsche Euch viel Spass beim Nacharbeiten
Have fun reworking it.

liebe Grüße
greetings,
Sabine :-)

Gift bag...

Morning all.....Vicky here today to show you how I made this quick and easy gift bag using the adorable Simply Maya "A Package of Love"

Isn't she just gorgeous...

...And here are the items I used...

Seam Binding
Stickles
Pearl & Eyelet

...And this is how I made it...

I die-cut all the elements as show and stamped the sentiment onto one of the tabs.

I then downloaded a template from the internet and printed it straight onto my patterned card stock.
I then cut the template out and scored and glued all the edges together.

I then put my gift in the bag and covered with tissue paper, tied the handles together with some seam binding and created a pretty bow.
I then tied the tags to the handles of the bag using the button twine and again created a bow.

Then I glued the doily and butterfly in place.
I then coloured and cut out Maya and placed her using 3D pads.

For more details please pop over to my blog here

So thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely day too..

Biggest of crafty hugs..

Vicky xx

ALTERING A BOX OF CHARMS

As you probably know by now, I love to decorate things.
So this month I want to share another decorating project with you, made with the fab Whiff of Joy charms box.

To begin with, you need the following to get started:

The paper measurements I used for the box are:
2 stripes 1 cm x 11,5 cm
a circle of 4,5 cm

The following step is optional, I added sewing and used a tool to distress the edges.

Glue the paper on to the box, I love to use Aleene's super tacky glue extra thick as glue.
It should look like this when it's on the box:

Now you can start decorating your box.
This is what it looked like after my decorating.
I filled my empty box with little bells, but you can also leave the charms inside as a give away or fill it with candy.

I hope I have given you some inspiration and you like my tutorial.
Happy crafting and untill next month,
Hugs,
Marion
