Hi Ladies :)

Nachdem ich (Angie) etliche Schwierigkeiten mit meinem Movie-Programm hatte, hab ich mein nächstes Tutorial Video für Euch endlich fertigstellen können. Ich freue mich sehr Euch jetzt mein Projekt mit einer Milchbox und dem süssen Henry (auf Zuckerstange sitzend) zeigen zu dürfen. Wenn das Video-Machen doch nur so gediegen wie das Basteln wäre :) *LOL*...
After having several troubles with my (Angie) movie-software, I had finally been able to complete my next Tutorial Video for you. I'm so glad to show you now my project with a milk box and the sweet Henry (sitting on a candy cane). If only doing a video would be as relaxing as crafting :) *LOL*...

Für die Milchbox habe ich die grosse Sizzix-Stanzform "Box, Milk Carton" (nur für BigShot Pro) benutzt. Diese Box ist so vielseitig als Geschenkpackung... für Kekse, Bonbons, sonstige Leckerlies, Textilien (z.Bsp. Seidenschal), Malutensilien für Kinder... endlos :)
I've used the big Sizzix Die "Box, Milk Carton" (only for BigShot Pro). This box is so versatile to be used as gift box... for cookies, candy, other sweets, textiles (ex. a silk scarf), coloring stuff for kiddies... endless :)

Gift Card pocket fold...

Hi everyone, hope you're having a great week so far. It's Lori here with a little tutorial on a simple gift card holder using the same piece of cardstock you would normally use just with a different fold. With Christmas coming I thought I'd use this simple fold to hold my gift cards that I'll be giving as gifts.

Supplies: A coloured Christmas image. I have used Whiff of Joy's new Oh Christmas Tree stamp.
One piece of cardstock 12 inches x 6 inches. Designer paper and some embellishments.

Score your piece of cardstock at 2" and 8" from the top.

I cut all my designer papers to size to cover my cardstock and then sponged all the edges with distress ink.

Glue down all your designer paper first before you fold the pocket up. Then add double stick tape to the inside edges of the smallest scored section.

Fold the pocket up and press in place and add your gift card.

Now to just finish it off by adding your image and embellishments to the front of your card.
It's a really quick and easy way to tuck those gift cards in safely.

Schneeflocken / Snowflakes

Auf dem Stempelmekka hatte ich die Idee aus den gestanzten Schneeflocken, eine Schneeflockengirlande für mein Winterfenster zu basteln.

Davon zeige ich dann bei Gelegenheit ein Foto, wenn denn dann die Jahreszeit gekommen ist *hehe*

Heute möchte ich euch mein erstes Exemplar zeigen....

Ihr braucht:

Schneeflockenstanze von Whiff of Joy 

und eine andere wenn ihr habt.

Glimmermist

Hitzebeständige Unterlage (Tim Holz)

Heißluftfön

Nähmschine

Als erstes stanzt ihr euch die Schneeflocken aus, für eine fertige Flocke braucht ihr:

1 Große  /large

2 Mittlere /medium

2 Kleine /smal

Diese besprüht ihr mit etwas Glimmermist und föhnt sie anschließend wieder trocken, so wird der gestanzte Cardstock fester. Ich habe für meine Flocken 200g Aquarellpapier genommen, da kommt meine Nähmaschine auch bei mehreren lagen noch durch ...

Dann legt ihr euch die Flocken übereinander und näht sie zusammen , zieht den Faden ein Stück aus der Maschine und die nächsten Flocken werden zusammen genäht. Dieses könnt ihr je nach Länge mehrmals wiederholen.

Dieses ist meine kleine Beispielkette für euch, die ihr aber nach belieben länger machen könnt.

Nach dem Nähen biegt ihr die Enden der mittleren- und der kleinen Schneeflocke etwas nach außen, so bekommt ihr den 3D Effekt....

 Damit sie nachher auch schön gerade am Fenster hängen kann, habe ich zum beschweren eine Perle ans Ende gehängt

Heat embossed 3d Christmas Flowers

Good Morning Everyone! Today, I (Jane) have a tutorial to show you how to make these very festive 3d flowers made using some of the brand new clear stamps and a Whiff of Joy flower die.

These look lovely on Christmas Wreaths, boxes, tags and are very easy to make.

To complete the Project, you will need the following supplies:

Red cardstock
Perfect medium ink pad
Whiff of Joy Backgroud Clear stamps
Whiff of Joy Nested Flower dies
Brads
Red glitter embossing powder
Heat tool
Piercing tool

To make the flowers:

Stamp your choice of pattern 3 times on the cardstock using the perfect medium.

Cover with embossing powder and shake of excess

Emboss with a heat tool until the powder sets

Repeat with another background stamp until the sheet has been covered

Die cut flowers using flower dies

I managed to get 4 sets of flowers from 1 6x6 sheet

Layer up the flowers alternating the patterns and pierce with a
pokey tool before setting with a brad.

Shape the petals by folding them up and roll between your thumb and finger

Open out the petals and adjust the layers to complete your flower


You can try adding more or less layers of petals to make different size flowers.
I have added 3 different size flowers to this tag made using the brand new 'Oh Christmas Tree' stamp.

Goodmorning to all, today I want to show you how is simple to create your own background with the newest Whiff Of Joy clear stamps.

This is the list of supplies you will need:

Ivory Cardstock

Essential Background Spot & Dots

Essential Background Spot & Dots II

Versamark Ink Pad

White Embossing Powder

Heat tool

Ink pads of some colors

Blending tool or sponge

The most important steps are three and they will be repeated of every background you want to create.

As first we ink up you stamp with Versamark then we emboss  it with White embossing powder.

The third step is the colouring with a color of your choice, this will consent the colouring of the cardstock, leaving clearly the embossed motive.

Clean up softly with a baby whipe on your cardstock, this will clean the emboss details from left color.
