Briefmarken

Material:
Heißluftfön
Ranger- Distress embossing powder ~ ab dem 1.Oktober bei Whiff of Joy erhältlich
Whiff of Joy- Weihnachtsbriefmarken Stempel ~ ab dem 1.Oktober bei Whiff of Joy erhältlich

XOXO Sonja

Perfect Bows by Jane Johnson

Hello! Jane here with a quick tutorial on tying bows! I have had a number of people ask recently how I tie my bows so neatly so thought I would create a little tutorial to show you! This isn't my idea originally, I learnt it from a book about making dolls clothes years ago!

1.
Firstly, it is important to remember to keep your middle two fingers the same distance appart throughout the whole process as this determines the size of the bow. You can make different size bows by having your fingers closer together or further appart! Holding one end of the ribbon between your thumb and finger wrap the ribbon under your second finger as shown in the picture above.

2.

Bring the ribbon over your third finger and hold it with your thumb too as shown.

3.

Fold the ribbon back on itself and pass the end underneath the ribbon loop you have created.

4.

Bring the free end of the ribbon back up to the top and pass it through the little loop you created in the previous step.

5.

Pull the free end downards as shown in the picture above until it is pulled tightly.

6.

You should then have a tightly knotted bow as shown (the size of the knot will vary depending on the ribbon width and type of ribbon).

7.

Slide your two fingers out of the ribbon loops and you will have a neat bow ready to trim the ends!

Here is my finished card using the gorgeous Snow White and my bow! I hope you find my tutorial useful! Thanks for looking!

Princess party favor - by Lori

Hi everyone Lori here with another easy tutorial for you. I wanted to show you a great way to use the new stamps and dies to make a treat bag for little princesses.
Supplies needed: Label shape in two different sizes. Princess Stamp. Flower. Ink for sponging the edges. Stickles. Liquid pearls. Ribbon. Some sort of candy treat and a clear bag.

I used the two smallest sizes of dies from the grand labels one nestie set and cut out the smallest in white cardstock and the next size up in pink. Then stamp your image (Princess accessories) on the bottom part of your shape and sponge around the edges. Score both pieces (pink/white) across the centre.

Adhere your ribbon to the to top of the bottom section and adhere your white piece to the pink.

Then I used the new Whiff of Joy Nested Flowers die to cut out the flower petals out of designer paper. I layered them and added a brad to the centre. Next colour your image. I also decided to add a sentiment to the back.

Now time to bling it up a bit. I added stickles to the shoe, flower, and all around the edgges. I then took my liquid pearls and added dots all around the pink card stock and the sentiment.

Fill your bag with candies and fold the label over the top of the bag and staple it on either side. This is the back of the bag. The sentiment is available with the Snow White set. Thanks for looking and hope you'll give it a try.
