Projet card original form By Murielle

Hi all, I'm back for the month of June I create for you a card with two tags in original form. I used the new stamps from the last series "Back 2 School".
Here's what you need: 2 coffee filters of different sizes, one large and one small as in the photo below. 

You have to draw on paper and cut to the great  filtre coffee 2 times as below.
Glue the two parts (front and back).

You must do the same as above with the small coffee filter (cut 1 time).
Then paste it on the front face of the large coffee filtre.

Draw and cut to the tags inside the large and small coffee filter.

Then you just had to decorate the various tags as shown below.

And here is the result.

School Days Paperbag Album

Good morning! Today I would love to share with you a paperbag mini album I made using the Back 2 School stamp collection.

Materials -

Back 2 School Stamps

3 x Lunch Bags {approx. 6" x  12"}

Whiff of Joy Dies - Clouds & Sweet Tag

Patterned paper

Embellishments - Ribbon, Lace, Brads, buttons, etc

Border Punch

Step1 - Taking the 3 lunch bags lay them on top of each other with the middle one facing in the opposite direction so that you have 2 openings on one end and one opening on the other end. These openings can be used for inserting photos, journalling, grade results, etc. 

Once they are lined up, machine stitch them down the middle and fold them in half

Step2 - Prepare the front page of your album as desired. 

Step3 - Apply a line of double sided tape or other adhesive in the centre of the front bag, all the way out to the edge. Adhere your ribbon. I bring it almost the full width of the bag to make sure it is secure.  Repeat on the back.

Step4 - Adhere both front and back pages and set aside while you work on the internal pages. 

Step6 - Prepare all of the internal pages ensuring your papers are cut to size first. Once they are all completed stick them down to the lunch bags. 

Use your stamps and dies to add detail to your pages

Twisted Easel card tutorial

Hi Everyone! I (Jane) am here with my first tutorial since I joined the permanent DT for Whiff of Joy. Today, I will be showing how to make a twisted easel card using the gorgeous Mother and Child image below.


To make the card you will need the supplies listed below:

13.5x13.5 cm when folded Square Kraft card blank
Square of Kraft card cut to 13.5cmx13.5cm
Patterned papers
Whiff of Joy Mother and Child image
Whiff of Joy pennants die
Whiff of Joy pearls
Twine
Strawberry charm
Ribbon and lace
Various paper flower
Printed sentiment
Brads
Embossing tool, ruler, Bone folder

To make the card:

Score diagonally along the inside front of the card blank

Fold the card and crease with the bone folder

Add double sided tape to the folded section


Add the square of Kraft card to the panel with tape on, when it is folded it will look as above

Cut two squares of red paper to 13x13cm and top with strawberry papers cut to 12x12cm, sew around the edges if desired. Cut a strip of red paper to 6cmx13cm and top with a strip of paper cut to 5cmx13cm. Add lace to the bottom of the strip and add to one of the patterned paper squares. Wrap with ribbon and add to the card base.

Decorate the card front with flowers, your coloured image, a bow, charm and your sentiment.
Add the pennant die cut to the base of the easel with foam pads to act as a stopper. Add more flowers to the the base of the easel and your card is finished!

Center Stair-Step Card

Happy Wednesday Everyone! This is Jeanette and today I have a quick video tutorial on how to create a center stair step card. This is not my idea, but one that I have seen here and there on blog-land. I have had several requests for a video, so here it is!

First I would like to show you an example. This is a card I made a little while ago:

Supplies:

• Stamp: Miss Ladybugs
• Sentiment: Spring Sentiments
• Whisper White Cardstock
• Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
• Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
• Spellbinders Flower Die
• Adhesive pearls
• White organza ribbon

Ribbon Flower - by Lori

Hi everyone Lori here. Today I wanted to share with you a super easy rolled ribbon flower and my card featuring the new An Apple for you stamp by Elisabeth Bell at WOJ.

Okay so this is what you need. I cut out a circle 4.5 cms across. You can make this any size depending on how big you want your flower. The circle doesn't have to be perfectly round, just freehand it. My ribbon was 75 cm long. Some good glue. I use the fast grab as it grabs right away. Some embellishments for the centre.

Staple the ribbon to the top of the circle and cover the circle in glue. If you have an assistant you can have them glue as you wrap around. However I don't...lol
Begin by twisting the ribbon and wrapping it around in a counter clockwise fashion.
This is how it should look after a few rotations. Notice how the ribbon is twisted. Unfortunately I didn't have an assistant to take the pictures so I hope you can understand how to twist and wrap.
Once you've wrapped your ribbon around completely trim off the excess.
Add a drop of glue to the bottom and secure the loose end.
Finally, add whatever embellishments you like to the centre, pearls, brads, etc, it is also pretty without any. Now just add these to your card or project! I hope you'll give it a try!
