Today I want to show you a really funny template card!!!

This is the WATERFALL CARD!!! and now I explain you how to do!!

You will need these supplies:

Three different  Whiff of Joy stamps, I used new Black and White digital stamps of Henry Mouse super hero

Bat Henry

Super Henry

Henry to the rescue

One piece cardstock  11 x 4 1/4

One piece cardstock  2 1/2 x 9

One piece cardstock  1 x 4 1/4

Three pieces cardstock 2 3/8 x 2 3/8

Two brads

 Double sided tape

Let's get started

First of all score  4 1/4 x 11 piece of cardstock.

I realize an embossed background but you can use a patterned if you prefer.

With a White gel pen I colored some lights on my background.

Now you can put the 1 x 4 1/4 piece of cardstock on the card with two brads on the opposite sided.

Place the piece of  White cardstock under the Red one with the folded side up an put the double sided tape as in the photo.  Attach aligning the edge of White cardstock  with the bottom edge of the Red cardstock.

Now put the double sided tape as in the photo and attach the three squares with the images.

Your Waterfall card is now ready, you can see in the photos the moviment of the card.

You can stamp a sentiment on White long strip if you want.

Unique - altered mirror by Katharina Frei

Today I have a special project to show you. The beautiful spring weather gave me a lot of inspiration and made my craft mojo flow :) I wanted to do something else than a card for a change and found a simple wooden mirror from Ikea (you can get it for 1.99 Euros). I bought it ages ago, because I wanted to alter it, but never came around doing so...
Heute habe ich ein sepzielles Projekt für euch. Das wundervolle Frühlingswetter hat mich inspiriert und zum Basteln animiert :) Ich wollte estwas anderes als eine Karte machen, da kam mir dieser einfache Holzspiegel von Ikea (gibt es um nur 1.99 Euro) gerade recht. Ich hatte ihn schon vor einer Ewigkeit gekauft, nur nie die Zeit gefunden ihn aufzupeppen :)


I started with covering the mirror with patterned paper (Whiff of Joy's Frühlingserwachen) and pages from my old dictionary. Ich habe den Spiegel zuerst mit Motivpapier (Whiff of Joy's Frühlingserwachen) und Seiten aus meinem alten Wörterbuch beklebt.
I covered the remaining areas with white crackle paint from Ranger and let it dry for about 30 minutes. Then I started with the creative process...LOL do you see my messy table?
Ich habe die verbleibenden Bereiche mit weisser Kracklierfarbe von Ranger eingestrichen und das Gnaze für ca. 30 Minuten trocknen lassen. Danach begann mein kreativer Schaffensprozess...LOL Hier ein Bild meines verwüsteten Tisches :)

I created the flowers myself using patterned paper and two different large Woodware punches, some paper flowers from making memories and Prima. In the end I sprayed them with Glimmer mist.
Die Blumen habe ich selbst zusammengestellt. Die Basis habe ich mit 2 verschiedenen großen Stanzern von Woodware ausgestanzt, dann Papierblumen von Making Memories und Prima darübergeklebt. Am Schluss habe ich noch mit Glimmer Mist darüber gesprüht.


I coloured the beautiful "Hello Ladybug" stamp by Elisabeth Bell with Twinkling H2o and paper pieced her dress. I wanted to follow the "aged" look of the mirror, so I decided to use the cracked glass technique (check out the WoJ Tutorialblog if you want to know how it works).
Ich habe den wunderschönen "Hallo Marienkäfer" Stempel von Elisabeth Bell mit Twinkling H2O ausgemalt und den Rock mit einem Stück Motivpapier beklebt (Paper Piecing). Auch mit dem Motiv wollte ich dem "gealterten" Aussehen des Spiegels weiter folgen, deswegen habe ich mich für die "cracked glass" Methode entschieden. Handbag card by Jane Johnson

Hi everyone! Today I would like to show you how to make a handbag shaped card which would be perfect for any girly cards and is very quick to make.

You will need:

cardstock

patterned paper

Extra Large dies

Oval dies

Tag die

Image and sentiment

First, cut a large fancy rectangle shape (I have used a large Go Create die) and using the next size nestie down cut a half shape for the flap of the bag and trim top edge to suit how large you would like the flap to be.

Cut half of the shape, using the die which is the next size down, from your patterned paper as shown above. (I have used paper from Whiff of Joy's Spring paper pad). TIP! If you sew around the edges of the paper it gives a more realistic look to your handbag!

Take the largest cardstock piece, score, and fold in half and glue corresponding paper piece on top as shown in picture above.

Glue the half shape of cardstock on to to form the handbag flap as shown above.

As you can see the shapes do not quite match up at the top - simply trim with scissors to match the shape of the flap.

Place oval nesties as shown in above picture onto a piece of folded cardstock (the fold is at the bottom) and run through your die-cutting machine (NB I have a machine strong enough to cut through folded cardstock, you may not be able to do this with your machine, in which case cut out two handles and glue together at the bottom!)

You will then have a double handle shape to represent the two handles of your handbag!

Before glueing the final piece of paper to the handbag flap add a brad to represent the handbag closure - Whiff of Joy's gorgeous brads are perfect for this as you can see!

Finally glue the folded handle to the top of the handbag and you're ready to decorate with your choice of image and sentiment!
