Scrap your stash

Hi all, it is Marion today and today I want to share a card with you.

We all hate throwing things away, since we can use so many things :).
I could not throw away these lovely papers that Whiff of Joy sends with your order.
I used this paper together with other stash I had in my room:

I wanted the attention drawn to the textsheet, so I added only slightly some embelsihments
and picked some nice quiet looking papers.
For an overview of my used Whiff of Joy products, please scroll down to the end of this post.

Close-ups:

I hope I have given you some inspiration,
Untill next time and happy crafting,
Hugs,
Marion

Wednesday Die-Light

Good Morning , Maria Therese here with a new Wednesday Die-Light

This time I made a tag using the largest of the new Large Nested Tag Die-lights ,
The largest one is both perfect to use by it self and to embellish a scrapbook page or a card!
I chalked the edges to warm it up, and used the new Charming Doily Die-Light
and Large Butterflies to layer the tag.
You can also make a hole at the top if you fancy and use this as a gift tag. That would be perfect for Christmas (never to early to start the Christmas tag production either..)

All products used for this tag:

Large Nested Tag Die-lights - set of 5
Large Butterflies - Set of 4 dies
Charming Doily Die-Light
Birthday Phrases - Set of 8 - English Sentiments
Crystals - Candy Pink

Until next time wishing you a lot of creativity ♥♥

Wednesday Die-Light - a spring-ish card

Hello everyone!
This is Kathrin here today with another Wednesday Die-Light card. And you already know that this means there are no stamped images on this card, just the Die-Lights.

So, this is the card that I came up with...
Love how it turned out with those mainly blue and white colors and the soft touch.

I put the butterfly in the focus here and added some designer's paper underneath that has a "real sky" print. Can you see the butterfly fluttering around in the summer sun?
I also had to use white Crackling Paint again, this changes the look of a card so much, even if it's not much I added.
Since I wanted to do no stamping on the card I used the Moment Pocket Page Die-Light to have some text on my card.
And since there is sky I also had to add a die-cut cloud.
Usually I don't use that many flowers on a card but to keep the balance from the size of the butterfly I had to add more. Doesn't it look like it just flew away after sitting on the flowers for a while? Underneath the flowers I also added some flourishes.

I cut 3 butterflies - the top layer is made from vellum, then I added the plain butterfly cut from light blue glitter paper underneath and then traced the shape of the Die-Light to get a bigger butterfly from the light green paper. Between the green and the glimmer paper I added antennas from thin wire and at the end I added silver Stickles to the body.

And these are all the products I used:

Thank you for stopping by today - I  hope there is some spring sun today wherever you are. And maybe you'll see a butterfly as well...

Wednesday Die-Light

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone!
Erika Winterlia here again with another card tutorial for you. Today is Wednesday Die-Light and I'll be using the fun alphabet die set from the shop to make a very clean and simple card.

To make this card I used some distress inks and the alphabet die. Since the dies are made to cut out the whole letters I needed to place my cutting plates so that the bottom of the letters weren't cut. This way I got a panel with the letters on top. Behind the white panels I colored a piece of white cardstock using three different colors of distress inks and water.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

So that was all for me today, I hope you liked my card and the video and if you want to get any of the products I used check out the complete supply list with links to the shop in the bottom of this post.
