Color me happy

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone it Erika here again with another card tutorial for you. Today is coloring time and I have used an image from the upcoming release for this card. So you'll get a little sneak peek here on what is to come.

This is the card I have done for today:

This is a pretty simple card without a lot of detail, but I made it this way since I wanted all the focus to be on the colored image. I used my Copic Marker to color this image and then I cut panels from different colors of cardstock to frame the image. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set as the cute little girl and I really like this set.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I am definitely not very good at coloring images and I can't really stay within the lines. And I am an absolute idot when it comes to understanding shadows and light so even though the image isn't even close to perfect I am quite happy with the result. If you want more information about how I did the coloring, what colors I used and hos I made the card please have a look at the tutorial video I uploaded on YouTube. You can find the video on my YouTube channel or here below.

So that was all for me today, I hope you liked my card and the video and if you are interested in getting this image for yourself be sure to check back on Sunday when the new stamps and dies are being released.

Wednesday Die-Light

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone!
Erika Winterlia here again with another card tutorial for you. Today is Wednesday Die-Light and I'll be using the fun alphabet die set from the shop to make a very clean and simple card.

To make this card I used some distress inks and the alphabet die. Since the dies are made to cut out the whole letters I needed to place my cutting plates so that the bottom of the letters weren't cut. This way I got a panel with the letters on top. Behind the white panels I colored a piece of white cardstock using three different colors of distress inks and water.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

Make a Card Monday with Erika

 http://lillgumman.blogspot.se/
Hello everyone!
I'm Erika Winterlia and this is my first post as a Whiff of Joy DT Member. I am so happy to be a part of this team and I am really excited to share this weeks Make a Card Monday post with you. I have made a card using various products from the shop and I hope you like the card as much as I do.

To make this card I used a few different dies, some stamps and patterned paper from the shop. I also added some enamel dots and glossy accent for some extra interest. I love to make clean and simple cards with a bit of a distressed look to them and this card is an example of that style.

Here is a closeup of the card:

I have also uploaded a tutorial video that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.
(And sorry about my strange voice and sound issues in todays video, think I might be getting a cold or something)
