My Crafty Space

Hallo, da bin ich wieder,endlich.

Ich war ja so lange weg vom Fenster, weil ich umgezogen bin.

Das ist aber auch ein Grund, warum ich euch nochmals mein Bastelzimmer zeigen kann.

Denn bereits Ende März 2014 hatte ich euch gezeigt, wo ich meine Kreativität auslebe.

Nun bin ich aber umgezogen und habe endlich mein eigenes kleines Bastelreich. 

Ich bin darüber so glücklich.

Und mein neues Bastelreich möchte ich euch heute zeigen.

Hi, I'm back again - finally.

I wasn't here for such a long time because I've moved.

Well, that is also the reason why I can show you my crafty space again.

This year, end of March, I have shown you already, where I craft.

But now, after my move, I have finally my own little crafty room. I'm so happy with it.

And today I wanna show you my new crafty space.

.....mein erstes eigenes Kreativ-Zimmer. *freu*

Achtung, jetzt kommen gaaaaanz viele Fotos. Wer darauf also keine Lust hat, besser weiter hoppen. ;o)

Wie gesagt, es ist fast fertig.

Es ist noch nicht alles eingeräumt, manches muss noch sortiert werden,

die Kisten müssen noch beschriftet werden und es fehlen auch noch Gardinen am Fenster etc.

Aber zumindest ist es ein Anfang und wenn ich die letzten Kartons noch ausgepackt und verstaut habe, 

dann kann ich auch endlich wieder basteln.

I'm so happy.

First I have to say sorry for so many pictures coming now.

Well, it isn't finished yet. Curtains are missing, boxes have to be labeled.

Maybe I have to sort again, because it's not the right place for everything.

But it's a beginning and the main thing is, I can finally craft again.

Wie ihr seht ist das Zimmer etwas verwinkelt......auch auf der anderen Seite.

Aber so ist irgendwie die ganze Wohnung. Überall sind Ecken oder schräge Wände.

Über die Expedit-Regale freue ich mich riesig.

I really love my expedit-(Kallax)-shelves from Ikea.

Auf dieser Seite ist der Bastelplatz.

Ich hab 2 meiner Esszimmerstühle dafür genommen. Ein Stuhl mit Rollen wäre mir zwar lieber,

aber diese Stühle haben eh keinen Platz im  Essbereich, so dass ich sie ganz gut zweckentfremden kann.

Eine kleine Computerecke braucht man natürlich auch. ;)

Nur ein kleiner Fernseher fehlt noch. Der kommt dann irgendwann.

Just a little TV is still missing........but someday I will get one.

Und meine ganzen Regale wollte auch Platz finden...........

und haben sich ganz schön breit gemacht. *lach*

Certainly my own created shelves of grey chipboard have their place.

Bei Ikea gab es eine Bilderleiste, die ich für ein paar Karten angebracht habe.

Natürlich habe ich viel, viel mehr Karten von euch allen bekommen, 

aber leider passen nur ein paar auf die Leiste.

Da muss ich halt immer auswechseln.

Some cards I got from lovely stampers. 

I put them on a shelf by Ikea.

Ein paar meiner Stanzen haben es an die Bygel-Leiste geschafft.........

Praktisch sind auch die Alex-Schränke von Ikea mit all ihren Schubladen.

Und ein paar Dekosachen, geschenkt bekommen oder selbst gemacht.

Meinen Arbeitsbereich habe ich inzwischen ein wenig geändert.

Und zwar habe ich mir meine Copics doch direkt auf den Tisch geholt. 

Es ist zwar wenig Platz, aber zum Colorieren ist es doch sehr viel praktischer.

My workingspace I have changed a little meanwhile.

I have took my copics and put right onto my table.

It's so much more practical, even though now it's less space on my table. 

Nun geht's los mit dem Colorieren. 

Und ich höre eigentlich immer Musik dabei.

Was macht ihr? Auch Musikhören? Fernsehschauen oder habt ihr es lieber ganz ruhig?

Ich hoffe, euch hat der Blick in mein kleines Reich gefallen und es waren nicht zu viele Bilder.

Scrap Your Stash

 

Hello everyone it's Erika here again with another card for you. Today is Saturday and it's time for Scrap Your Stash. I made a few cards during the week and had some left over pieces that I decided to use for the card today.


This is the card I have done for today:

This is a really simple card that I made using a circle from spellbinders, the large banner trio dies from Whiff of Joy and the Christmas sentiment from Whiff of Joy. I love these circle stamps, I think they work so well on almost any card.

As a finishing touch I added some ink splatter with my Distress Spray and also wrapped a piece of twine around the front.

Hallo liebe Freunde von Whiff of Joy!
Hier ist Kathrin und ich habe heute ein neues Color me happy für Euch, also eine fertige Karte mit einigen Hinweisen dazu, wie ich das Motiv coloriert  habe.

Hello dear friends of Whiff of Joy!
It's Kathrin here today and I have a new color me happy for you. It means, I have a finished project and will give you some information about how I colored the image in.

Ich habe diese Karte gewerkelt, in die vorne eine kleine Box eingearbeitet ist. Der hintere Teil der Karte ist wie eine Easel Card gestaltet.

I made this card that has a little box attached to it at the front. The back part ist made like an Easel Card.

Hier könnt Ihr die Box besser sehen. Die Schnur verschließt sie, obenauf passt wunderbar etwas Deko.

Here you can see the box. The twine holds it closed and there's plenty of room on top of it for decorations.

Ich habe diesen älteren Stempel von Whiff Of Joy verwendet - sie war genau das, was ich für mein Karten-Konzept gebraucht habe... Leider gibt es den Stempel nicht mehr, aber er passte einfach perfekt zum Zimtsterne-Text aus dem Textset Weihnachtliche Definitionen. Hinter dem Motiv steht der größte Baum aus dem Die-Light Set Christmas Tree. Und oben rechts in der Ecke, von den beiden Tannenzweigen, baumelt eine der Christbaumkugeln aus dem gleichnamigen Die-Light Set.

I used this older image by Whiff Of Joy - she was exactly what fitted into my concept of this card... Sadly this isn't available anymore but it just went perfectly with the Text from the Christmas Definitions stamp set. Zimtsterne are a kind of german christmas cookies... Behind the image I put the largest of the trees from the Die-Light set Christmas Tree. And in the top right corner, hanging from those twigs, there is one of the baubles from the Christmas Baubles Die-Light set.

Nun aber etwas zu meiner Coloration. Ich habe Copics verwendet und von den verschiedenen Colorations-Schritten Fotos für Euch gemacht. Ich habe den Fokus auf das Motiv gestellt, so dass die Kappen meiner Marker etwas unscharf sind, man kann die Nummern aber immer noch super lesen, oder?

But now a few words about how I did the coloring. I used Copics and took pictures from the different steps while coloring. I put the focus of my camera on the image so the caps of my markers look a little blurry but you can still read the numbers on them, can't you?
