Heute bin ich wieder an der Reihe, einen Post auf dem Whiff of Joy Blog zu schreiben.
Mein Thema ist heute: Color me happy!
Ich habe schon mit fast allem coloriert, angefangen über Aquarell, dann Polychromos, anschließend Distress und letztendlich bin ich bei den Copics gelandet.
Heute zeige ich euch, wie ich dieses Motiv für meine Karte coloriert habe.

I have colored already with several mediums, but I was catched by the Copics.
Today I will show you, how I have colored this image for my card.
Jaaaaa...ich wollte eigentlich ein Video drehen, wie ich coloriere. Den Anfang kann ich euch auch zeigen.
Aber leider ist dann meine Kamera runtergefallen von der Tupperdose, auf die ich sie gestellt hatte - natürlich schräg gestellt, damit man auch was sieht - und da war sie erst mal hin. Oh mein Gott, was ein teurer Post.
Ich hab dann erst mal weiter coloriert, weil die Karte ja fertig werden musste und später hatte ich dann die Möglichkeit, wenigstens mit einer anderen Kamera Fotos der verwendeten Copics zu machen.
Ja, Schuster bleibt bei deinen Leisten, man sollte nichts tun, was man nicht kann. Und ohne Stativ, sollte man nicht filmen. Frau ist ja lernfähig. ;o)
Aber erst mal der kurz Film:

Well, actually I decided to take a movie about how I color my images. And the beginning, I can really show you. But then unfortunately my camera slipped from the Tupperware box, which I have used as a tripod.
Wow, now the camera is broken.......what an expensive blogpost, my godness.
Because the card had to be finisched, I went on coloring.
Later I got another camera to take at least pictures of the Copic, I have used.
But first the short movie:
Und nun der Rest. Für die Schleife, das Kleid und die Schuhe habe ich meine Lieblings-Rosatöne verwendet.
RV95, RV93, RV91.
Geblendet mit RV0000 und den Colorless Blender.
Schattierungen habe ich gesetzt mit N5.

The box, the dress and the shoes I have colored in my favorite pink tones.

Für die Haare habe ich fast die komplette E40er-Reihe benutzt.
Auf die Wangen der süßen Maya habe ich Punkte mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt.

On the cheeks of sweet Maya I have painted white dots with a gel pen.
Das Paket und der Brief wurden mit BG90, BG93 und W1 coloriert.

Der Briefkasten hat ein paar mehr Farben gebraucht. Welche, könnt ihr auf dem Foto sehen.

The mail box needed a few more colors. Which ones, you can see at the picuter below.
Ich coloriere immer einen kleinen Boden unter das Motiv, so dass Maya nicht im Leeren steht.
Dafür nehme ich am liebsten meine W-Töne. Welche genau kann man nach Gefühl variieren.

Maya should not stand in the air, so I always color a kind of ground.
For this I love to take the W's. Which exactly is not that important, you can do it by feel.
Ganz zum Schluss bekommt das Motiv auch noch einen Hintergrund.
Ich mache diesen recht abstrakt, in dem ich unregelmäßige Punkte tupfe. Und zwar mit einem Wassertankpinsel und dem Distress-Stempelkissen Wheathered Wood.

At the very end I give my image a background.
I really do this in an abstract way, as I dab some uneven dots on it with water and Wheathered Wood Distress- Ink.
So, wenn man Motiv fertig ist, kann ich die Karte beginnen.
